We’re looking for a motivated Presales Engineer (demo engineer) to join our growing team and play a critical role in showcasing the value of our solution to prospective customers.
About the Role
As a Sales Engineer at Regology, you will be the product and technical expert during the enterprise sales process. You’ll partner closely with Account Executives to deliver compelling demos, understand customer pain points, and tailor our solution to their specific needs. Your mission is to clearly articulate the value of Regology’s platform, drive trust, and help convert prospects into long-term customers.
Responsibilities
- Deliver engaging, customized product demonstrations that highlight the value of Regology’s platform.
- Collaborate with Account Executives to understand customer goals, challenges, and requirements.
- Translate customer needs into tailored product narratives and technical solutions.
- Act as a trusted advisor and product expert throughout the sales cycle.
- Support RFIs, RFPs, and security questionnaires when needed.
- Provide feedback to Product and Engineering teams based on market and customer input.
- Stay current on regulatory technology trends and developments to inform customer conversations.
Requirements
- Experience in regulatory compliance, legal tech, or GRC (governance, risk, and compliance) software.
- 3+ years of experience in a Sales Engineer, Solutions Consultant, or similar customer-facing role—ideally in legal/regulatory/compliance tech.
- Strong communication and storytelling skills with the ability to simplify complex topics.
- Ability to quickly grasp technical concepts and translate them for non-technical audiences.
- Proven experience understanding customer needs and mapping them to product capabilities.
- Comfortable leading product demos and technical discussions with both business and IT stakeholders.
- Self-starter with a collaborative spirit and a bias for action.
Nice to Have
- Familiarity with enterprise sales cycles and tools like Salesforce and Apollo.
- Technical background or understanding of APIs, data integration, or enterprise architecture.
