The Social Media Manager will be responsible for building and maintaining the social media presence in alignment with global brand guidelines and business plans.

This role will focus on crafting engaging content, driving brand awareness, managing community engagement, leveraging influencers to enhance brand loyalty, and driving consumer acquisition through both organic and paid social strategies.

*To Note: The salary range ($80,000 - $100,000 AUD) is in Australian Dollars*

Responsibilities:

  • Brand Ambassador: Act as the primary brand ambassador, ensuring consistent messaging and engagement across all platforms.
  • Social Media Strategy: Develop, implement, and maintain the social media strategy across multiple platforms (e.g., TikTok, Instagram, Snapchat) to build brand awareness and foster consumer connections in line with the global brand guidelines and local business objectives.
  • Content Creation & Management: Create compelling organic and influencer-generated content to drive engagement and grow the brand community. This includes managing and coordinating content for both paid and organic media, ensuring alignment with the overall strategy.
  • Paid Media & Amplification: Develop and execute paid social media strategies, utilizing paid amplification tools to enhance the reach and impact of organic content. Manage social media advertising campaigns to optimize performance and achieve business objectives.
  • Influencer & Community Engagement: Lead the outreach, vetting, and management of influencer partnerships, including negotiation, briefing, and ensuring deliverables are met. Oversee the brand ambassador program, fostering relationships with influencers through gifting, engagement challenges, and event participation
  • Event Support: Attend select events to capture and create real-time content, ensuring influencer and ambassador participation and content delivery as per agreements.
  • Community Management: Oversee all interactions on social platforms, including responding to direct messages and comments to ensure positive community engagement and timely responses to queries.
  • Budget Management: Manage the social media and influencer marketing budget, ensuring efficient use of resources and maximum impact.
  • Data & Reporting: Track and analyze social media performance metrics (KPIs), making recommendations for strategy adjustments based on results.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including global and regional marketing and communications teams, to ensure cohesive brand storytelling and strategy alignment.

Requirements:

  • Social Media Expertise: Strong knowledge of social media channels and best practices for driving brand growth and engagement.
  • Paid Strategy Experience: Proven experience in developing and managing paid social media campaigns, with a focus on amplification of organic content and optimization of paid strategy.
  • Influencer Management: Experience with influencer outreach, negotiation, and relationship building. Proven ability to manage end-to-end influencer partnerships.
  • Content Creation: Ability to develop contemporary and engaging content across multiple social media platforms.
  • Project Management: Strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and projects in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience: Preferably experience in working with consumer products in a fast-paced, international environment.
