Job Description: Manager of Product Marketing

Overview

The Manager of Product Marketing is responsible for managing, defining, and developing strategic positioning, messaging, competitive differentiation, and go-to-market activities. Under the direction of the Head of Marketing and Communications, this role ensures the effective packaging and positioning of our narrative to our target audience. Critical to this role is the ability to lead and coordinate cross-functional teams across global markets and key stakeholders from Marketing, Sales, IT, Hotel Operations, Newbuild, Revenue Management, Itinerary Planning, Sales, and Sales Excellence.

Key Responsibilities

  • Product Vision and Strategy: Serve as the voice of the product; execute product vision, strategy, and implementation across all marketing channels and initiatives.
  • Brand Narrative: Develop and bring to life our story that responds to insights and defines the brand as a category of one.
  • Destination Strategy: Lead and support the destination strategy in partnership with the deployment and itinerary team. Analyze deployment/itinerary data to implement an effective go-to-market strategy.
  • Campaign Management: Lead the development of product launch campaigns for digital, traditional, and experiential channels. Consistently optimize campaigns based on business intelligence.
  • Content Development: Strategically brief agencies on e-commerce content; conduct ongoing website audits to maintain accurate and precise product content.
  • Team Leadership: Develop and lead a high-performing team with various tenures and technical skills. Direct agencies to ensure timely and precise delivery of initiatives.
  • Messaging and Consistency: Manage the development of messaging strategy across all marketing channels to ensure consistent execution. Develop product toolkits for internal and vendor stakeholders.
  • Cross-functional Collaboration: Spearhead and manage product performance and action planning across functions. Collaborate with the hospitality operations team to establish the guest experience story across all touchpoints.
  • Comprehensive Marketing Programs: Manage and develop omnichannel marketing programs to drive demand and sales while ensuring brand representation. Collaborate with the integrated and lifecycle team to build messaging strategies across segmented profiles.
  • Post-launch Analysis: Document campaign performance with key insights for next steps and/or optimizations.

Required Skills And Qualifications

  • Education: BA/BS in Marketing, Communications, Advertising, or a related field; MBA is a plus.
  • Experience:
    • 5-8 years of product marketing and/or product development experience.
    • Cruise industry experience is essential; hospitality and ultra-luxury experience are a plus.
    • Brand marketing experience is a plus.
  • Skills:
    • Strong leadership and creative direction skills.
    • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize effectively.
    • Excellent interpersonal, presentation, written, and verbal communication skills.
    • Proficiency in Microsoft programs.
    • Strong analytical skills and business intelligence application.
    • Demonstrated sound judgment and resourcefulness in decision-making and problem-solving.
Additional Information

  • Work Arrangement: Hybrid, 2 to 3 days a week (flexible).
  • Interview Process: 3 to 4 rounds of interviews.
  • Preferred Experience: Experience with luxury cruise lines (e.g., Aman, Orient Express, Seabourn, Regent Seven Seas) is advantageous.
