Zendrive is processing large-scale datasets obtained through smartphones to analyze driver and traffic behavior in order to make the roads of the world safer for drivers and in the process, we are contributing to the acceleration of the evolution of transportation.
About the role
We are currently seeking a contract React Native Developer available for more than 2 hours a day over the next 6 months. The project entails the development of a comprehensive React Native library that provides a rich collection of native UI components for mobile app developers. You will help us solve some of the complex problems in react native and help us accelerate the integration for our react native customers.
Your role will be to create React Native wrappers for existing native libraries, ensuring seamless integration with React Native while allowing developers to customize the components' style or replace them entirely using ViewFactories. Your expertise in React Native development, coupled with your ability to design a robust and performant internal architecture, will be vital to the success of this library. You will have the opportunity to utilize your skills in resolving performance bottlenecks and optimizing resource usage, enabling the delivery of a high-quality library that empowers developers to create stunning and responsive user interfaces. Your deep understanding of native APIs, proficiency in JavaScript, and experience with third-party dependencies will be instrumental in creating a reliable and well-documented library.

Basic skills and experience requirements
- More than 7+ years of experience in mobile app development with more than 2+years of experience in react native.
- At least 1 year of experience working hands-on on one of the native platforms using Swift, Objective-C, Java or Kotlin.
- Excellent at hands-on react native work and creating native UI components.
- Can build pixel-perfect, buttery smooth UIs across both mobile platforms.
- Excellent at resolving performance bottlenecks and reducing impact on device resources.
- Good understanding of native APIs for deep integrations with both platforms.
- Firm grasp of JavaScript and one of Swift or Kotlin languages and its nuances.
- Knowledge of functional and object-oriented programming.
- Ability to write well-documented, clean Javascript code.
- Rock solid at working with third-party dependencies and debugging dependency conflicts.
- Familiarity with native build tools, like XCode and Gradle.
