About The TeamThe fundamental goal of Product Operations is to maximize products on a global scale. Our Team works closely with cross-functional partners to surface needs, prioritize, test, launch, and iterate on products.We focus on exciting agenda such as Merchant Experience, Pricing, BYOC, Merchant Earnings, Acquisition / Activation, Retention, Performance etc. About The RoleThis role focuses on the product suite that supports our millions of Merchants globally. With a diverse partner base across the globe, our goal is to help launch Merchant products that help Uber offer best in class experience for our Merchant Partners.As a Product Operations Manager on the Merchant team, you will be responsible for alignment with our business teams, the go-to-market strategy of new product features, and cross functional alignment across tech and non-tech globally.Key Responsibilities
  • Surface and advocate for key insights from the business to advise product improvement
  • Collaborate with technical partners, design and deliver on the roadmap
  • Define the operating structure and processes to implement on product strategy
  • Lead a community of strategic leaders to encourage significant impact to the business
  • Ensure functional partners are aligned on key objectives for the program/product
  • Advise product teams on the global feasibility of products throughout the product lifecycle
  • Develop an end-to-end rollout plan, and project-manage implementation for team's products and features
  • Collaborate with key team members (legal, tax, policy, support, etc) to prepare products for launch
  • Track core business metrics related to the product
  • Identify key problem areas and/or geographies impacted by the product post-launch
Basic Qualifications
  • Demonstrated ability of 4+ years in operations, technical program management, business consulting, heads of startups or a similar analytical role
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills
  • Deep understanding of the user experience
  • Deep Analytical Expertise: ability to use data to advise and support critical decisions ; SQL proficiency
  • A desire to learn, highly motivated self-starter, with an eagerness to learn and grow
  • Ability to foster collaboration and facilitate teamwork
  • Effective prioritization of solutions
  • Prior experience working on global product launch management or on complex international projects
