About The RoleThe mission of the Vehicles team is to eliminate vehicle ownership as a barrier to entry for earning with Uber. We do this through our innovative platform that empowers vehicle suppliers to build a successful business on Uber by providing affordable and sustainable access to vehicles for earners who need them. On this team your effort and creativity will impact the experience of huge numbers of earners around the world!As a product manager, you will be responsible early lifecycle success of vehicle suppliers at Uber. You obsess over newly launched vehicle suppliers at Uber and ensure that they have the tools and data they need to be successful on our platform.You will work closely with world class product and engineering teams, data scientists, and designers. You will collaborate with nearly every aspect of the Uber organization from fraud to finance, from maps to Marketplace.Having excellent communication and collaboration skills, an entrepreneurial bent, excellent technical and analytical understanding, product management expertise, good judgment and deep background in building scalable systems would allow you to thrive in this role! What The Candidate Will Do / Bonus Points
  • Lead the ideation, technical development, and launch of innovative products for the Vehicles team
  • Establish a shared vision across Uber by building consensus on priorities leading to product execution
  • Drive product development with a team of elite engineers and designers
  • Integrate usability studies, research, and market analysis into product requirements to enhance user satisfaction
  • Define and analyze metrics that inform the success of products
  • Basic Qualifications --—
  • Minimum of 4 years of Product Management experience developing or working on premier applications.
  • 2+ years of experience building growth focused product experiences
  • What the Candidate Will Need --—
  • Track record of building and launching innovative products that drove business growth
  • Strong creative skills - you can come up with and test experimental product features that go beyond iterative or obvious improvements to the product
  • Past success analyzing data, drawing accurate conclusions, and adjusting strategy accordingly
  • Technical depth that allows you to communicate with, understand, and earn the respect of world-class engineers and data scientists
