About The RoleAs a Sr OCI Cloud Engineer on the IT Eng Cloud team, you will develop an internal web application to manage a global hybrid cloud environment. You will work with some of the latest cloud technologies and be the primary engineering resource for the Oracle Cloud (OCI) environment. What The Candidate Will DoYou will help integrate our web application with multiple Cloud providers/services. In addition, you will design and implement new features to support the platform's growth and execute our product vision. As the primary Engineering resource for the Oracle Cloud environment you will be instrumental in setting up this environment and migrating on prem workloads to it. You will act as a POC for Ops escalations for this service. The Ideal Candidate Will
  • Have experience with Oracle Cloud
  • Bring a passion for creativity and discipline in web development with cloud technologies
  • Provide insight into emerging technologies and work with the team to make architectural design decisions
  • Implement new features while prioritizing security, user experience, modern design, high availability, and scalability
  • Communicate and collaborate with other teams, both technical and non-technical.
  • Contribute to enhancing the team's technical and organizational culture; serve as a role model to others
  • Write comprehensive technical documentation of your projects
Basic Qualifications
  • 5+ years of experience with OCI
  • 5+ years of Python experience
  • 3+ years of Javascript experience
  • 3+ years of experience on other public Cloud
  • Good understanding of security fundamentals, including the principles of least privilege
Preferred Qualifications
  • Have experience with hybrid cloud- AWS, GCP, OCI and VMware
  • Bring a passion for creativity and discipline in web development with cloud technologies
  • Provide insight into emerging technologies and work with the team to make architectural design decisions
  • Implement new features while prioritizing security, user experience, modern design, high availability, and scalability
  • Communicate and collaborate with other teams, both technical and non-technical.
