About The RolePartners with stakeholders and leads team efforts to design, develop, and maintain complex user interfaces and features for web applications that meet the design, functionality, and complexity needs of end users. About The TeamUber for Business is the strategy to focus on enterprise business, while Uber Central is one of the fastest growing verticals under U4B. Uber Central’s vision is to help businesses keep their customers and guests moving with powerful features in one dashboard. We built a booking platform that supports several delegate booking use cases. We are aiming to expand central’s product to meet enterprises where they are by offering various transportation and delivery solutions and continue to evolve the delegate booking platform. As a tech lead on the backend system, there are many opportunities to re-architect the system given these growing business needs. Minimum Qualifications
  • PhD or equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics or related field OR +5 years full-time Software Engineering work experience.
Technical Skills
  • Programming language (e.g. JavaScript, CSS, Node.js)
  • Architecting, building, and maintaining web applications
  • API design
  • Modern javascript
  • Modern js framework
  • UX
