About The RoleThe Uber Global Social team is looking for a full-time social media producer to lead social content creation and social handles management in your local market across Uber social channels. This is an incredible opportunity to work closely with Uber’s Global Social Team and our local Comms, Marketing, and other Uber teams to invigorate and grow Uber’s organic social footprint in your market, inserting and engaging Uber authentically into the local cultural conversation for brand lift. What You'll Do
  • Build organic social original videos, graphics, captions, and copy for posts on the local market Twitter, Instagram, and any other channels Uber engages locally. Coordinate with other members of the social team on platform strategies.
  • Work closely with the local and global Comms, Products, Marketing, Social Impact, and Policy Teams for ideation, creation, and coordinated content, product, and initiative rollouts.
  • Consult various Campaign Teams in developing social-forward content supporting their Integrated Marketing Campaigns and helping those campaigns to come to life on the organic handles.
  • Run the local social media accounts, including publishing content and daily Community Management efforts.
  • Manage country-specific video uploads to the Global YouTube channel.
  • Have a keen understanding of Uber's audiences, ensuring that content is engaging for existing and new audiences.
  • Optimize and grow existing social account engagement and performance.
  • Ideate and launch social-first repeatable franchises that ladder into Uber priorities and content pillars, taking ideas from conception to launch and beyond.
  • Build a culture of experimentation, testing, and learning across platforms.
  • Collect, analyze, and use relevant data to inform smart content choices to engage and grow audiences. Collaborate on regular social reporting and analytics for your market.
Basic Qualifications
  • Strong French and English speaking, presenting, and writing.
  • Strong content creation skills, with an ability to nimbly tell and promote stories in an engaging social-endemic manner.
  • 5-7 years of experience in social media content creation and promotion.
  • Professional-level experience with Canva, Adobe Premiere video editing, AfterEffects, and Photoshop. Final Cut experience is a plus. Ability to turn around edits quickly.
  • A deep understanding or professional experience with social media platforms, including Youtube, Instagram, Twitter, Facebook, TikTok.
  • Experience with social video publication tools and in-app editing functionalities on Instagram, and tools like Sprinklr and BrandWatch.
  • User-first orientation, with strong intuition and taste for what resonates at Uber.
  • Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills, particularly in building relationships with other creators and cross-functional leaders.
  • Understand how organic and paid content strategies work together.

  • Ability to excel in a fast-paced environment.
  • Background in editorial planning.
  • Experience in working in a globally-led, collaborative organization.
  • Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills, particularly in building relationships with other creators and cross-functional leaders.
  • Highly organized, with the ability to run multiple workflows in a fast-paced environment.
