About The RoleAs a (Senior) Strategy & Operations Manager reporting directly to the Country Manager GER, you will be a crucial driver for new business projects and growth bets that will help shape our Rides business in Germany, a global top priority market for Uber, and across the DACH region. Strategy & Operations Managers possess an extraordinary degree of ownership, are great project managers, leaders with vision, and effective, empathetic communicators with strong analytical capabilities. We believe in solving local problems with local solutions, so you (will) deeply understand the German transportation market, regulations and customer demands in order to find the solutions that best serve the needs of our partners and customers. What You’ll Do
  • Own, manage and autonomously drive forward key workstreams
  • Implement high-value analyses that will deliver practical insights
  • Develop strategic & operational concepts and plans to drive long-term, sustainable growth
  • Facilitate cross-functional collaboration to deliver the best possible results
  • Package and communicate insights and results to a diverse set of stakeholders, including senior management

Qualifications
  • Minimum of 2-4 years of experience in management consulting/project management/operations in a top tier consultancy, tech company, large business, startup or similar organization
  • Knowledge of and deep interest in the German mobility space
  • High degree of ownership and ability to drive forward workstreams, independently
  • Thought leadership and conceptual thinking
  • Stakeholder management skills and ability to work with a diverse set of people
  • Communication skills both in writing (incl. presentations) and speaking
  • Analytical capabilities, e.g. numerical analysis
  • Attention to detail and ability to complete diligently
  • Can-do attitude and stress resistance
  • True teammate mentality that contributes positively to our team spirit
  • Ability and willingness to learn and develop
  • Fluency in English; German as a significant plus
