YOUR MISSION
As a Senior Electrical Hardware Engineer at True Anomaly, you will be responsible for leading the design, development, and testing of electrical components across our ground and space hardware. You will work closely with a team of engineers and technicians to ensure the highest level of quality, reliability, and performance of our spacecraft.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Lead the rapid design, development, and testing of high-reliability electrical boards and components for spacecraft engineering and development efforts.
- Drive component selection, analysis, schematic capture, prototyping, bring-up, debugging, documentation, manufacturing, and test for electrical designs
- Perform system-level integration of electrical subsystems, including hardware and software interfaces.
- Perform first article testing, unit level testing, and production testing
- Support hardware through production, integration, and launch
- Create development and qualification testing campaigns to exercise designs to their limits and ensure reliable hardware
- Work closely with other engineer disciplines such as mechanical and embedded software during design, test, and system integration
- Develop and maintain documentation for electrical boards and components, including design specifications, test plans, and operating procedures
- Participate in all aspects of the product development lifecycle, from concept and requirements definition to product release and post-release support.
- Continuously improve electrical engineering processes and practices to drive innovation and efficiency.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field
- Minimum 5 years of experience in electrical engineering
- Demonstrated experience with electrical hardware design and testing
- Experience with Altium Design or other ECAD software
- Strong understanding of applicable codes and standards
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
COMPENSATION
- Base Salary: $140,000-$180,000
- Equity + Benefits including Health, Dental, Vision, HRA/HSA options, PTO and paid holidays, 401K, Parental Leave
ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS
- Work environment—this role will is hybrid. Expect to spend 4+ days per week on-site at our factory in Denver, CO
- Physical demands—Comfortable working in a laboratory or manufacturing setting
