We are a fast-paced, consumer brand headquartered in San Clemente. Our team is passionate, collaborative, and hands-on. We’re looking for an experienced AP Manager to step in and take ownership of day-to-day payables bringing structure, accuracy, and clarity to the process.

About The Role

This position will be responsible for the timely processing and payment of invoices and expense reports. We’re looking for a strong, dedicated, self-starting individual that thrives in an up-tempo team environment. Candidates need to be able to bring creativity and positivity to their daily responsibilities. High moral and ethical values are a must. Solid communication skills and attention to detail are required to excel in this position. This person will be the main contact representing Stance in the AP function. This position will require a high level of professionalism and persistence to maintain the best possible DPO for the Company.

About the Responsibilities & Duties

  • Own the full-cycle AP process, including invoice matching, entry, coding, approvals, and
    payments
  • Verifies vendor accounts by reconciling monthly statements and related transactions
  • Prepare weekly check runs and maintain appropriate records
  • Manages employee expense report processes in Concur, including new employee set-
    up, report approvals, and ensuring expenses are within Company guidelines
  • Managing business relationships with all vendors
  • Assist with monthly and year-end close procedures and records
  • Assists auditors during all periodic and annual company audits
  • Assist with year-end 1099 reporting
  • Special projects as necessary

Required Qualifications

  • 2-3 years of AP experience, preferably in a consumer product or retail environment
  • Undergraduate degree preferred
  • Knowledge of Full Circle ERP and Concur preferred
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong relationship building skills primarily through phone calls and email
  • Knowledgeable about computer hardware and software, primarily Microsoft Office
  • Strong attention to detail and persistent follow-up skills
  • Capable of sound judgment and analytical decision making
  • Self-starter with proven ability to prioritize and multi-task

Schedule

  • Full-time hybrid with 2-3 days in office
