Job Description

Savage X Fenty is looking for a Director of Planning to lead and grow our European business.

Co-founded by music and fashion icon Rihanna, Savage X Fenty is a lingerie brand built on fearlessness, confidence, and inclusivity. We celebrate all shades and shapes of women and move fast, think boldly, and challenge traditional ways of working.

How Do You Fit In?

As Director of Planning, you will lead the EU inventory planning function while remaining deeply involved in the work itself. This role requires someone who can think strategically at a high level and comfortably dive into the details — forecasting, analysis, trade-offs, and in-season decision making — to drive results.

You are someone who anticipates growth and risk, balances competing priorities, and makes thoughtful, data-driven decisions in a fast-paced environment. You communicate clearly and proactively with partners across regions, including senior stakeholders in the U.S., and you bring a collaborative, solutions-oriented mindset to your work.

This role is critical to the continued growth of Savage X Fenty in Europe, both financially and from a product and category perspective.

With offices in Berlin, London, Barcelona, and headquarters in Los Angeles, this is a full-time position based in Berlin, reporting to the Sr. Director, Planning & Allocation in California.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the EU Planning function with a hands-on approach, owning both strategy and execution

  • Own Open-to-Buy forecasting and lead the budgeting process in partnership with Finance, aligning on investment strategy, inventory health, and receipts

  • Drive the buying process by ensuring the right SKU count, quantities, product/category mix, and balance between fashion and core

  • Actively manage the business through performance reporting (weekly, monthly, quarterly), translating data into clear insights, risks, opportunities, and action plans

  • Forecast and manage in-season risks and opportunities, making timely recommendations to Merchandising and leadership to maximize results

  • Own the financial success of the EU business by delivering sales, margin, and sell-through targets while maintaining healthy inventory levels

  • Present product and investment strategies to EU and North American leadership, clearly articulating trade-offs and rationale

  • Provide forward-looking insights to influence future season planning and long-term growth

  • Partner cross-functionally with Logistics, Merchandising, Marketing, and North America to ensure product is delivered on time and aligned with business goals

  • Manage, coach, and mentor a Senior Planner, fostering growth, accountability, and strong planning fundamentals

What We’re Looking For

  • Bachelor’s degree required; business or finance preferred

  • 7+ years of experience in apparel planning or buying, with demonstrated ownership of a business (retail or wholesale experience a plus)

  • Deep expertise in retail math, forecasting, and Open-to-Buy planning

  • Highly advanced Excel skills and comfort working directly in data

  • Proven ability to balance strategic thinking with detailed execution — this is not a “manage-only” role

  • Strong business judgment with the ability to foresee growth, risk, and trade-offs in a fast-moving environment

  • Flexible, adaptable, and comfortable navigating ambiguity and change

  • Strong prioritization skills and the ability to manage multiple workstreams under tight timelines

  • Excellent communication skills (written and verbal), with the confidence to engage senior stakeholders across regions

  • A collaborative, approachable leadership style; able to work effectively with diverse teams

  • Curious, innovative, and motivated to continuously improve processes and ways of working

  • Fluency in English required; additional European language (German, French, or Spanish) a plus
