About the Job:

As the Senior Accountant, AP, you will play a key role in the day-to-day operations of our growing Accounting team, reporting directly to the Director of Accounting. You’ll have an exciting opportunity to oversee our non-inventory Accounts Payable team, as well as support the accounts payable accounts during month end close for a fast-paced, extremely successful and high energy company.

What You’ll Do:

• Oversee non-inventory Accounts Payable and related areas such as expense reimbursement.
• Assist in full cycle management of invoicing, payment process and tracking to metrics.
• Assist in daily prioritization and assignment of inbound invoices; manage and escalate urgent issues as appropriate.
• Build relationships across the company and act as a business partner on Accounts Payable and expense matters and inquiries.
• Support the month end close by preparing ongoing journal entries as they pertain to accounts payable accounts.
• Maintain weekly and monthly schedules performing reconciliations of related balance sheet accounts .
• Investigate reporting discrepancies / anomalies and communicate issues as they arise in a timely manner.
• Review invoices, expense reports, and capital expenditures as needed to ensure proper coding and accounting treatment by Accounts Payable.
• Participate in ad hoc projects, as required.

About you:

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting; CPA license preferred
• 3+ years of relevant accounting experience in either public accounting and/or relevant private industry experience
• You are a highly organized detail-oriented self-starter with the ability to work independently and within a team environment\
• You have exceptional communication and problem solving skills and are comfortable working with both internal and external stakeholders at various levels
• You have exceptional Excel skills and are comfortable with analyzing and manipulating large data sets
• You can execute and follow-through on multiple tasks simultaneously
• You have experience with a major ERP system preferred
• You have a strong work ethic and a can-do positive attitude

The anticipated base salary for this position is $78,000 to $98,000. The actual base salary offered will depend on a variety of factors, including without limitation, the qualifications of the individual applicant for the position, years of relevant experience, level of education attained, certifications or other professional licenses held.
