The Role

We just launched Partiful Ticketing, the first major plank of our monetization strategy. We're hiring a Strategic Accounts Lead to own the highest-revenue side of the ticketing business. Your mandate is simple: bring on the hosts whose events define culture, and drive our most impactful tranche of ticket sales through the relationships you own (and new ones you build).

You'll be selling to Partiful’s most strategic accounts based both on revenue and influence.This is a sales role; closing high-value deals is the job. But importantly, you’ll be focused on curating and closing the most culturally relevant events of the year, closing organizers who treat platform choice as a signal about the community they are building.

In this role, you will:

  • Own our largest book of attributable ticket sales in your first year, building the pipeline, sales motion, and account plan from scratch

  • Source and close headliner deals: artists, performers, and cultural figures whose events on Partiful pull the next wave of hosts onto the platform

  • Build and run a target list of strategic accounts across venues, recurring event series, curated markets and fairs, and institutional cultural programs.

  • Negotiate deal structures that unlock the right relationships, coordinating closely with our finance, legal, and product engineering teams

  • Develop the playbook for moving headliner deals into recurring host relationships and peer referrals

  • Partner with marketing to refine our ICPs and tell the story of our highest-profile events

  • Bring the voice of Strategic Accounts into our product roadmap

  • Build the foundation for a Strategic Accounts function, including the potential to hire and lead a small team as the motion proves out

You're a good fit if:

  • You have 5+ years of experience in a closing sales or account executive role, with a track record of personally landing complex, high-value deals. This ideally includes negotiating non-standard structures (sponsorships, partnerships, custom commercial terms).

  • You've gone 0-to-1 before: built out a region, opened a new market, or stood up a sales motion from scratch at a startup or new line of business. You don't need an existing playbook to start selling.

  • You have an authentic network in at least one of: live music and nightlife, food and hospitality, art and design, wellness, or institutional/cultural programming— and a clear thesis for how that network flexes into the others.

  • You can read a room. You know the difference between an event with an earned audience and one with a manufactured one, and why that distinction matters for the long-term health of a ticketing platform.

  • You're credible in any situation; your confidence comes from your instincts, affability, and genuine curiosity, not from status or pedigree.

  • You're an exceptional operator with strong business instincts. You're disciplined about CRM hygiene, forecasting, deal review, and pipeline math, and you understand payback periods and ROI. We're a metrics-driven team and you'll be expected to run a tight motion that drives topline business impact.

  • You move fast, you're scrappy, and you're not above any task: cold emails, comped tickets for a show, going to the event yourself to close the next one.

  • You're genuinely excited about Partiful: you've thrown parties on it and know firsthand what it takes to bring a great event to life.

The on-target earnings for this role range from $230,000 to $270,000 depending on experience, plus meaningful equity.
