Role Summary

The Technical Enablement Project Manager owns the planning, execution, and launch readiness of OpenGov’s monthly technical enablement cadence, ensuring GTM technical teams are prepared for new product launches in a timely, consistent, and measurable way.

This role serves as the operational backbone for technical launch readiness—bringing structure to ambiguity, aligning cross-functional stakeholders on readiness criteria, and ensuring no launch progresses without clear technical preparedness signals. The role emphasizes simplifying complex processes, reducing manual work, and leveraging AI-driven tools and workflows to improve enablement readiness, communication, and execution at scale.

Key Responsibilities

Technical Enablement & Launch Readiness Execution

  • Own the end-to-end technical enablement workflow as a core component of overall launch readiness.

  • Define, maintain, and enforce technical launch readiness criteria for Tier 1–3 launches, including timelines, dependencies, and go/no-go checkpoints.

  • Simplify complex, cross-functional enablement and readiness processes into clear, repeatable workflows that stakeholders can easily follow.

  • Track launch scope changes and ensure technical enablement coverage aligns with final launch commitments.

  • Provide clear visibility into technical readiness status and risks ahead of launch milestones.

Session Planning & Enablement Readiness

  • Schedule Technical Enablement sessions across product areas and manage logistics end to end.

  • Compile session decks and materials by aggregating inputs from Product and PMM (support docs, release notes, workflows).

  • Ensure mandatory pre-reads, pre-work, and readiness artifacts are distributed in advance and acknowledged.

  • Coordinate presenters and confirm feature stability, demo readiness, and technical accuracy prior to sessions.

  • Manage post-session follow-ups, including recordings, documentation links, FAQs, and identified readiness gaps.

Cross-Functional Launch Coordination

  • Partner with Product to align on feature readiness, technical scope, dependencies, and launch sequencing.

  • Work with PMM to ensure technical enablement materials reflect current messaging, positioning, and launch priorities.

  • Coordinate with Sales Enablement to align technical readiness with broader GTM launch and enablement rhythms.

  • Act as the point of contact for Support, PS, CSE, and SE teams for technical enablement and launch readiness questions.

  • Escalate readiness risks, gaps, or blockers with clear recommendations and mitigation plans.

Continuous Improvement & Reporting

  • Use data and AI-assisted insights to identify readiness trends, recurring gaps, and enablement friction points.

  • Track and report on technical readiness health across launches, including adherence to timelines and readiness criteria.

  • Continuously refine processes to make technical enablement and launch readiness simpler, faster, and more predictable month over month.

Qualifications

  • 2–3 years of experience in project management, enablement operations, GTM operations, or launch operations in a B2B SaaS environment.

  • Experience coordinating recurring, cross-functional projects tied to product launches or releases.

  • Strong organizational and project management skills with high attention to detail.

  • Ability to manage timelines, dependencies, and follow-ups in a fast-paced release environment.

  • Clear, concise communicator comfortable working with Product, PMM, and GTM technical teams.

  • Familiarity with SaaS product launches, readiness frameworks, and technical documentation preferred.

Success Metrics

  • On-time execution of monthly Technical Enablement sessions

  • Clear, shared visibility into technical launch readiness for each release

  • Reduced last-minute enablement issues, readiness gaps, or launch escalations

  • High confidence from SE, Support, PS, and CSE teams at launch time

  • Improved consistency, predictability, and quality of technical enablement and launch readiness over time
