Join us in a key finance role where you will take ownership of core financial operations and help scale a growing global organization. You will be based in Lyngby and join our Finance team, reporting to the Head of Finance. In this role, you will work closely with colleagues across Finance, People & Culture, and operations globally.

Tasks and responsibilities

Own payroll and people-related finance processes

Manage monthly payroll across multiple entities, maintain employee master data, and in cooperation with People & Culture, act as point of contact for payroll, expense, and HR-related finance queries.

Manage payments, banking, and cash flow

Execute outgoing payments, perform bank reconciliations, and ensure accurate cash reporting, including handling loan and leasing accounting.

Handle AP/AR and expense processes

Manage invoices, purchase orders, and project allocations, while ensuring timely expense and credit card reconciliations and follow-up on receivables.

Ensure VAT compliance and financial accuracy

Prepare VAT returns (Denmark) and support international compliance requirements, including transfer pricing calculations and postings.

Execute month-end close processes

Perform monthly and quarterly closing activities, including accruals, depreciation, and balance sheet reconciliations, ensuring accounts are accurate and audit-ready.

Drive process improvement and SAP optimization

Act as a key SAP user within Finance, maintain and improve processes, and identify opportunities to increase efficiency through automation and digital tools.

Skills, experiences and qualifications we are looking for

• Solid hands-on experience (3-6 years) in operational accounting (GL, AP/AR, month-end close)
• Experience with ERP systems, preferably SAP FI
• Experience with payroll processes and VAT reporting (Denmark required; international exposure is an advantage)
• Strong analytical and structured approach to work
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines independently
• Experience with process improvement, automation, or digital finance tools is an advantage
• Relevant degree in Accounting, Finance, or similar
• Fluency in English
