As part of Business Operations and the TPL team, you will play a key role in ensuring technical leadership, alignment across stakeholders, and world‑class delivery to our customers. Tasks and responsibilities
Lead opto‑mechanical design for R&D and customer projects
You will drive the DFM and FMEA processes and ensure robust design decisions for volume manufacturing.
Own all technical documentation
You create, maintain, and improve specifications, drawings, reports, and supporting documentation—setting the standard for clarity and quality.
Act as the technical interface to internal teams and customers
You will partner with optical design, process development, and characterization teams, and work directly with suppliers and subcontractors to maintain technical alignment and drive timely outcomes. As Technical Project Lead, you will also collaborate closely with Project Managers and Process Engineers.
Drive problem‑solving, risk mitigation, and process improvements
You anticipate technical challenges, lead root‑cause analysis, implement corrective actions, and help standardize internal procedures.
Deliver high‑quality customer‑facing communication
You provide updates, present data, and navigate complex discussions with a high degree of independence.
Skills, experiences and qualifications we are looking for
- MSc in Mechanical Engineering, Materials Science, Electronic/Optical Engineering, or similar (pre‑requisite)
- Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in product development, preferably in consumer electronics
- Solid background in optics, materials, processing, and metrology
- Knowledge of mechanical design (DFM) and failure analysis methods (FMEA, Fishbone, DOE)
- Experience creating technical documentation from scratch and understanding underlying process challenges
- Strong analytical skills; proficiency in JMP, Python, K‑layout, AutoCAD (or similar)
- Ability to scope early‑stage, ambiguous projects
- Strong customer mindset and urgency in execution
- Fluent in English; Danish is an advantage
- Product engineering experience is a strong plus
