We are seeking a rockstar Operations Manager to help us position our company for the next phase of growth. You will work closely with our Director of Finance & Operations and lead our efforts to rapidly organize and improve all the company's operations, accounting, and HR functions. This position will straddle the operations, accounting, and HR departments and requires exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
The Operations Manager must be a self-motivated go-getter who can thrive in a fast-paced, rapidly changing environment. The ideal candidate will have:
• Previous startup experience
• The ability to perform low-level accounting-related functions with some understanding of accounting procedures and terminology.
• Implement high-level corporate controls, practices, & procedures
• Reading/writing/reviewing corporate documents (handbooks, SOPs, etc.)
• High attention to detail is a must

SALARY & COMPENSATION
• $60K to $90K annually (salary is commensurate with experience level and location)
• Possible stock options available based on performance

LOCATION & HOURS:
• NGT is a 100% fully remote company
• USA and Canada ONLY for this key company operations position
• This position requires adherence to standard US hours: 8 AM to 5 PM weekdays

JOB DESCRIPTION
• Kaizen* all Operations, Accounting, and HR processes where possible.
• In charge of all SOP review, organization, creation, and updating
• Google Drive maintenance, cleanup, and organization
• Employee onboarding and offboarding activities
• Employee Orientation creation and hosting
• Oversee the NGT Payments Tracking sheet
• Oversee the Employee Compensation Calculation process
• Expense documentation, and categorization/autocategorization
• Active participation in operations and accounting-related meetings
• Vendor payments setup and processing
• Employee-Contractor Payments creation and submission
• Other miscellaneous Operations, Accounting, and HR related tasks

  • Kaizen = the act of continuous improvement of working practices & personal efficiency

QUALIFICATIONS:
• 3 – 5 years of experience in an Operations Manager or Accounting Manager role preferred
• Prior operations OR low-level accounting and finance experience required
• BS/BA in Accounting, Finance, Business Operations, or other related field
• Previous startup experience is preferred but not required
• Must have strong computer skills and spreadsheet/Excel/Google Sheet skills
• Must have strong organization skills
• Must be able to communicate with all levels of the organization.
• Experience with Notion or similar workspace and productivity platforms is a bonus
• This is an incredibly high attention to detail position
