Compensation

$72k – $144k OTE • Commission Only • 1099 Contract

100% commission, no base salary. This is a 1099 independent contractor role. On-target earnings: $72K–$144K ($6K–$12K/month depending on performance). Commissions are uncapped, with monthly, quarterly, and annual bonuses on top. During your initial training and ramp period (typically the first 30–45 days), expect limited earnings while you complete product and sales training; first commissions typically land in your second month.

NGT Academy was founded by Air Force veterans on the belief that education should prepare people for the workforce the same way military training does, with real-world skills instead of four years of debt for a degree that doesn't teach what employers actually need. We're on a mission to place 1 million people into tech careers by 2030, and we need closers who can turn conversations into career transformations. This is a commission-only 1099 contractor role for experienced sales professionals who bet on themselves. You'll own the full enrollment conversation from first call to close, working via Zoom with prospects who've already expressed interest in changing their careers. What You'll Own

• Full-cycle enrollment conversations via Zoom, from initial consultation through close
• Clear enrollment targets within a proven, high-ticket program
• Objection handling at a senior level, addressing concerns about career change, investment, time commitment, and ROI with confidence and empathy
• Tracking your pipeline in CRM, following up consistently, and nurturing leads who need time
• Coordinating student handoffs with Student Success on payments, withdrawals, and support questions

What Success Looks Like (First 90 Days)

• Completed product and sales training; learned from top performers
• Closing enrollments independently with consistent conversion rates
• Earning $6K+ months regularly
• Developed your own objection-handling playbook based on what's working
• Received positive feedback from enrolled students on their experience

You're a Fit If

• You have 3+ years of sales experience with a track record of hitting or exceeding quota
• You've closed high-ticket or consultative deals where prospects needed to trust you before buying
• You're confident in commission-only compensation because you know you can close
• You make decisions quickly and don't need hand-holding on pipeline management
• You're hungry and coachable. Even as an experienced closer, you actively look for feedback and room to improve
• You believe in education as a path to career change. You only sell what you'd recommend to a friend

• Have less than 3 years of sales experience
