What you will do:

  • Office Operations: Manage daily operations of the San Francisco office, ensuring a safe, professional, and welcoming environment.

  • Administrative Support: Provide scheduling, expense, and logistics support for office leadership as needed.

  • Facilities & Vendors: Serve as the point of contact for building management, vendors, and office service providers.

  • Events & Programs: Coordinate onsite events, team gatherings, and office-wide programs that foster culture and collaboration.

  • Travel & Logistics: Support occasional travel coordination and employee logistics for visitors to the SF office.

  • Operations Expansion: Over time, take on cross-functional projects in operations and program management to support Laurel’s broader growth and efficiency.

  • Employee Experience: Ensure employees and guests feel supported—helping with everything from onboarding setup to day-to-day needs in the space.

You will be a great fit if you have:

  • 3+ years of experience in office management, administrative support, or operations in a fast-paced environment.

  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills with attention to detail.

  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to build strong working relationships across teams.

  • A proactive, problem-solving mindset—you anticipate needs and address issues before they become problems.

  • Comfort working independently and handling confidential information with discretion.

  • Ability to thrive in a dynamic, high-growth environment where responsibilities evolve over time.

Nice to haves:

  • Experience in program/project management.

  • Prior exposure to operations in a startup environment.

  • Event planning or vendor management experience.

  • Comfort with productivity tools (e.g., - Suite, Slack, Asana, or similar).

  • Previous experience with building out and launching new office locations.
