About the Role

We are looking for a Senior / Staff Product Engineer to join our team and play a crucial role in the development of our cloud lab software product. You’ll work closely with the founders and build an advanced React application that powers our cutting-edge digital biology platform.

While your primary responsibility will be front-end development, experience with or an eagerness to learn full-stack development is a strong bonus. You’ll be joining a multidisciplinary team focused on solving some of the hardest challenges in digital biology - and will join at the very beginning.

Responsibilities

• Build new user-facing features with beautiful UI components.

• Define new user interaction modalities in collaboration with the founders, and our tech and bio teams.

• Implement complex React components including 3D visualizations and drag-n-drop.

• Improve application performance.

• Define best-in-class digital biology software from the ground up.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated experience building modern React apps.

• Strong foundations in JavaScript.

• Experience with Python a plus.

• Experience with GCP, Tailwind, state management (Mobx/Redux) a plus.

• Scalable software development practices.

• Low ego with ability to move fast and build world-class software.
