About the Job

We are seeking an experienced Scientist with expertise in phage and yeast display technologies. In this role, you will develop and optimize display libraries, perform high-throughput screening, and contribute to the discovery and characterization of novel antibodies, peptides, and proteins. Your strong analytical skills and meticulous attention to detail enable you to design and execute experiments that advance scientific discovery. You thrive in a collaborative, high-pace startup environment where we push the boundaries of what is possible.

Responsibilities

• Design, construct, and optimize phage and yeast display libraries.

• Perform high-throughput screening using phage and yeast display technologies to identify high-affinity binders.

• Develop and refine protocols for display selection, amplification, and screening processes.

• Analyze screening data to identify promising candidates and validate their binding specificity and functionality.

• Collaborate with our ML engineers, data scientists, lab automation engineers, and lab scientists.

• Maintain detailed and accurate records of experiments, protocols, and results.

• Present complex scientific data and concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.

• Contribute to the setup, maintenance, and optimization of laboratory workflows and automation.

Qualifications

• PhD in Molecular Biology, Biochemistry, Synthetic Biology, or a related field and 3+ years of industry experience or 8+ years of experience in display technologies and high-throughput screening.

• Strong expertise in phage and yeast display technologies.

• Proficiency in library construction, DNA manipulation, and cloning techniques.

• Experience with high-throughput screening and data analysis.

• Experience in other display technologies, such as mammalian cell display is a plus.

• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with meticulous attention to detail.

• Experience with robotics and workflow automation is a big plus.

• Strong written and verbal communication skills, capable of presenting complex scientific concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
