About the Role

We are looking for a Talent Acquisition Apprentice to support the continued growth of our team.

You will work closely with the Talent team to manage the full-cycle recruitment process, including sourcing, engaging, and hiring early-career talent (interns and apprentices), while also dedicating equal effort to campus management, event coordination, and university outreach. This role will also support the recruitment for a small number of full-time roles.

You will gain hands-on exposure to technical recruiting, sourcing strategy, campus management, and recruitment operations in a fast-growing and highly technical environment.

This role offers a unique opportunity to learn how high-performing teams are built while contributing directly to Harmattan AI’s hiring efforts.

Responsibilities

Early Career Hiring

• Lead sourcing and pipeline building for internship and apprenticeship roles across all departments in the company.

• Identify and engage promising candidates through university networks, direct applications, LinkedIn outreach, and specialized communities.

• Support the development of structured early talent hiring campaigns by conducting interviews autonomously and managing the recruitment process.

Campus & University Outreach

• Help develop long-term relationships with target business engineering schools.

• Support campus initiatives such as job fairs, outreach events, and early talent programs.

• Contribute to strengthening Harmattan AI’s presence within student and early-career communities.

Full-Time Hiring Support

• Own end–to-end full-time hiring processes alongside the Talent team.

• Assist hiring managers in sourcing candidates and managing interview pipelines.

• Ensure a smooth, professional experience for candidates throughout the hiring process.

• Maintain accurate candidate data and recruitment tracking.

Talent Acquisition Projects

• Support initiatives to improve sourcing strategies and recruiting workflows.

• Assist with recruiting analytics and hiring reporting.
  

Candidate Requirements

• Interest in Talent: Strong interest in recruitment, HR and operations in a fast-paced, technical environment.

• Academic Background: Ideally enrolled in a Tier-1 Master’s program with a focus in HR, Business, Legal Studies, or a related field.

• Autonomy & Rigor: Proactive, organized, and detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.

• Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication in French and English. Capable of leading diverse principals – from junior members to senior executives.

• Tools: Comfortable with spreadsheets and understanding new recruitment related tools, such as ATS/HRIS and sourcing platforms.

• Mindset: Collaborative, humble, and eager to learn; no task is too small.
