The Crown Is Yours
As the Director of Mobile Engineering, you'll set the vision, strategy, and execution framework for our mobile engineering function. You'll oversee multiple teams delivering high-performance, innovative mobile experiences to millions of users across iOS and Android platforms. In this role, you will align engineering capabilities with business priorities, ensure operational excellence, and cultivate a culture that attracts and retains top mobile talent. Partnering with senior leaders across Product, Design, and Backend Engineering, you'll guide the development of our mobile portfolio, driving technical quality, delivery predictability, and strategic impact.
What You'll Do
Lead and develop multiple mobile engineering teams across iOS, Android, and cross-platform technologies.
Define and execute the strategic vision for mobile engineering in alignment with company goals.
Oversee delivery of all mobile initiatives, ensuring quality, scalability, and exceptional user experiences.
Partner with executive leadership to align mobile roadmaps with business objectives, customer needs, and market trends.
Drive engineering operational excellence by implementing processes that improve speed, quality, and predictability.
Establish and monitor key performance metrics for mobile delivery, technical health, and team performance.
Mentor senior engineering managers and technical leads, building leadership depth within the organization.
Lead recruitment and retention efforts to grow a diverse, high-performing mobile organization.
Partner with architecture and platform teams to guide technology choices, frameworks, and long-term platform strategy.
Represent mobile engineering in executive forums, budget planning, and cross-functional strategic initiatives.
What You'll Bring
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or any suitable combination of education, experience, and training.
At least 6 years of experience in a high-growth, large-scale environment, with a track record of building and scaling high-performing engineering teams across the full software development lifecycle.
Proven success leading mobile engineering organizations to deliver large-scale, high-traffic applications on iOS and Android.
Strong technical foundation in mobile application architecture, development practices, and platform-specific considerations.
Experience building and executing multi-year technology strategies in alignment with business goals.
Demonstrated ability to manage budgets, capacity planning, and organizational scaling.
Exceptional leadership and people management skills, with a track record of developing high-performing leaders and teams.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to influence at the executive level.
Passion for building best-in-class mobile products and creating an engineering culture of excellence, innovation, and inclusivity.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is 216,000.00 USD - 270,000.00 USD, plus bonus, equity, and benefits as applicable. Our ranges are determined by role, level, and location.
