The Crown Is Yours
As a QA Engineer, you'll ensure our backend applications are top-notch. You'll dive into manual testing, identify and document bugs, and perform functional, regression, integration, and performance testing. By participating in Agile ceremonies like daily stand-ups and sprint planning, you'll provide valuable feedback on testability while crafting
What You'll Do
Execute manual test cases to ensure the quality of our ETL workflows, data pipelines and backend systems.
Identify, record, document thoroughly, and track bugs.
Perform functional, regression, integration, and performance testing.
Participate in daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospective meetings.
Review application requirements, specifications, and technical design documents to provide timely and meaningful feedback on testability.
Create detailed, comprehensive, and well-structured test cases and test plans.
What You'll Bring
At least 1 year of experience as a Manual QA Engineer, with a strong understanding of QA methodologies and the test lifecycle, preferably in testing backend applications.
Familiarity with test management and bug-tracking systems such as JIRA and TestRail, coupled with excellent analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.
Ability to quickly adopt new technologies and methodologies, demonstrating a growth mindset and a commitment to continuous learning.
Strong command of English for clear and effective verbal and written communication.
Proficiency in integrating AI-powered tools (e.g. Copilot, Cursor, Claude) into development pipelines to accelerate coding, enhance code quality, and increase developer efficiency.
Proficiency with AI-assisted testing, code reviews, and documentation generation.
Proven ability in leveraging AI tools in daily engineering workflows e.g. including pair programming with AI, auto-generating test cases, or accelerating bug triage and resolution.
