We're looking for a Director, Sportsbook Operations to join our Online Sportsbook Team. In this role, you will manage a team of specialists and managers responsible for growing the lifetime value of the DraftKings’ Sportsbook Customer. By leading and mentoring a high-performing team, you'll drive continuous improvement and operational excellence.
What you’ll do as a Director, Sportsbook Operations
Accountable to the performance of a suite of customer behavioral metrics that line into top-line business performance goals.
Own a significant portion of the overall Sportsbook reinvestment budget with accountability to the efficacy of spend and management to that budget.
Define the strategy that contributes to the growing lifetime value of a DraftKings Sportsbook customer.
Continuous improvement mindset, developing and owning an ongoing test and learn agenda and providing regular performance updates to leadership.
Stakeholder in the evolution of product capabilities, acting as a key decision maker and sponsor of improving functionality and promotional mechanics.
Responsible for ensuring the highest quality execution of initiatives either directly or through partner teams.
Lead by example - hands on and in the weeds of team projects.
Own performance reporting and updates to the senior leadership team.
What you’ll bring
At least 5 years of experience in the Regulated Online Sports Betting industry.
Bachelor’s degree preferred, in a relevant field such as Business, Economics, Statistics, or Mathematics.
Experience either managing a promotional budget or direct accountability to top line business metrics strongly preferred.
Proven ability to deliver on complex objectives that exceed business expectations.
Strong ability to collaborate and work cross-functionally across multiple stakeholders to accomplish goals.
Strong ability to manage tight deadlines, shifting priorities, and multiple complex projects simultaneously.
