The Crown Is Yours

DraftKings is looking for a seasoned, experienced professional with full understanding of programmatic and online display marketing to work alongside our world-class team of Marketers, Data Scientists, Engineers, and Product Managers. You will run media campaigns to support our programmatic and direct partnership channels across all DraftKings’ products. Our company is agile and values transparency, high levels of autonomy, and cross-functional collaboration.

What you’ll do as a Growth Marketing Specialist

  • Responsible for ownership of digital media buying strategies across Programmatic and Online Display/Direct Partnership channels for our iGaming products, DK Horse, and new verticals.

  • Independently manages campaign performance to hit financial goals - including channel management, utilizing applicable best practices, competitor intel, and product/placement/inventory testing.

  • Launch & optimize new user acquisition campaigns across digital channels to meet larger team goals, KPIs, and results.

  • Identify and execute A/B tests to draw insights critical for growth and optimization.

  • Conceptualize new and innovative ads, collaborating cross-functionally with creative, brand, and product.

  • Work closely with the Marketing Creative team to deliver these innovative, best-in-class creative concepts to life.

  • Report on performance and share learnings with executives & the wider growth team.

  • Lead day to day communication with external agencies and DSP partners.

What you’ll bring

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Economics, Mathematics, or related field.

  • At least 3 years of experience in Programmatic advertising.

  • Proficiency in digital media optimization, including structured A/B testing, conducting in-depth analysis on ad buys, and understanding of bidding algorithms or manual bidding approaches.

  • Demonstrated channel experience, with ownership of channel objectives and roadmaps, particularly across hands-on keyboard programmatic buying.

  • Well organized and great attention to detail, with the ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously, often under challenging time constraints.

  • An understanding of cohort analysis; strong understanding of mobile attribution preferred.

  • Understanding creative/messaging campaign types to best deliver new user acquisition.

  • Expertise in Excel is a must; SQL proficiency is helpful.

  • Willing to work non-standard hours based on the promotional calendar.

We’re a publicly traded (NASDAQ: DKNG) technology company headquartered in Boston. As a regulated gaming company, you may be required to obtain a gaming license issued by the appropriate state agency as a condition of employment. The US base salary range for this full-time position is $88,000.00 - $132,000.00, plus bonus, equity, and benefits as applicable. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
