The Crown Is Yours

As a Security Guard, you will be responsible for positively impacting the safety and security of company assets, including guests and DraftKings team members, while maintaining overall satisfaction. By responding to guest issues and keeping them safe, you will make an impact on the success of the Security staff and the DraftKings community as a whole.

What you'll do as the Security Guard

  • Patrol Sportsbook doors, equipment, and people to ensure a safe and respectful establishment.

  • Review patrons IDs for authenticity and age verification, and cross reference against banned patron lists.

  • Operate metal detectors and vet guests as they pass through the devices.

  • Direct visitors and vendors to appropriate locations and escort the transfer of monies from one area to another.

  • Observe and report procedural violations, rule infractions, and illegal activity; notify management when necessary.

  • Document property damage, theft, fraud, burglaries, unusual occurrences, and patron or employee injury.

  • Communicate with other Security personnel and the Security Operations Center via two-way radios or telephone.

  • Respond to patron disputes, aggressive behavior incidents, intoxicated patrons, medical incidents, accidents, fire alarms and other life safety matters. May be required to render medical first aid.

  • Recover lost and found items and documents appropriately.

What you'll bring

  • High School Diploma or equivalent; criminal justice background is a plus along with basic computer skills.

  • Excellent customer service skills and the ability to effectively speak before groups of guests or associates.

  • Confident and able to read, speak, and write in English to carry out written and oral instructions.

  • Flexible working hours as this role may require nights, weekend hours or holidays.

  • Ability to lift up to 35 lbs, stand and walk for the entire length of shift, and walk up and down stairs frequently.

The US hourly rate for this full-time position is $18.40 - $27.60, plus bonus, equity, and benefits as applicable. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range and how that was determined during the hiring process.
