We're looking for a highly motivated leader with excellent technical and managerial skills. As a Manager in the Platform Engineering Department, you will lead a team of DevOps experts dedicated to designing, implementing, and maintaining our Platform Infrastructure (Kubernetes, Observability, Continuous Delivery) which powers hundreds of microservices developed by over a thousand engineers. This role offers the opportunity to grow as a leader by making impactful decisions and to stay hands-on by assisting your team in tackling complex architectural and operational challenges. What you'll do as a DevOps Manager

• Lead a high-performing DevOps team, providing mentorship and fostering a collaborative and innovative work environment.

• Participate in and lead project planning and sprint planning activities, ensuring effective prioritization and resource utilization.

• Improve scalability and maintain the high availability of our platform infrastructure, deployed across more than a dozen production environments using a hybrid cloud approach, including GCP, AWS, and on-premises data centers.

• Enrich our Kubernetes-centered platform infrastructure with new technologies.

• Collaborate with engineering teams to identify and address areas of improvement in our development and deployment processes, utilizing GitOps, infrastructure as code, and CI/CD processes.

• Actively promote and spread the DevOps culture throughout the company.

What you'll bring

Required Qualifications

• Prior leadership experience in any of the following roles: Team Lead, Tech Lead, or Architect.

• Excellent leadership and communication skills.

• Experience with Kubernetes, Docker, and CI/CD platforms.

• Proficiency in one or more scripting languages.

• Understanding of observability tools such as Prometheus, ELK Stack, Grafana, DataDog, InfluxDB, or similar.

Preferred Qualifications

• Proficiency in one or more of the following technologies would be a plus: GitOps (specifically Flux), Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Ansible), Service discovery (Consul), Load balancing (Kong, Nginx), Streaming/messaging (Kafka, RabbitMQ), and/or Secret management systems (HashiCorp Vault, Sealed Secrets, AWS/Google Secret Manager).

• Software development experience is a plus.
