What You'll do as a Software Engineer Lead

• Take ownership on development of gaming platform and ensure its scalability and performance.

• Designing and Solutioning highly scalable and highly available features using cutting edge technologies (e.g. Kafka, AWS services, Redis, InfluxDB, MySQL, JavaRX and more)

• You will be developing systems using microservices architecture and APIs that power a rich set of applications used by a large and passionate group of users every day.

• You'll mentor Junior and Senior members of the team.

• You'll be architecture and technological trust point of the team and you'll participate in and contribute to technical design reviews.

• You'll be responsible for code quality including reviews and apply best practices.

• Taking active part of the team KPI’s and take part in leadership meetings.

WHAT YOU'LL BRING:

• BSc. in Computer science / Software Engineering

• You have 5+ years of development experience.

• You have experience in one of NoSQL data stores like Redis, MongoDB, Elasticsearch, etc.

• Proficiency in Object Oriented Programming (ideally in Java), design patterns and microservices architecture

• You have experience designing and implementing highly scalable systems.

• Experience supporting systems in production, working with monitoring systems, understand how to debug and solve production issues.

• A people person with interpersonal skills and leadership capabilities with the ability to grow other engineers through code reviews, design reviews etc.
