We are looking for a highly motivated DevOps Technical Lead to join our Platform Engineering department. In this role, you will collaborate with our diverse team of engineers and architects to develop, maintain, and enhance our platform infrastructure, which powers hundreds of high-performance microservices created by over a thousand engineers. What you’ll do as a DevOps Technical Lead

• Lead the design and implementation of our Kubernetes-centered platform infrastructure, ensuring scalability, cost-efficiency, and maintaining high availability across 10+ production environments using a hybrid cloud approach (GCP, AWS, Azure, and on-premises data centers).

• Lead our Observability strategy using Prometheus, Grafana, and ELK Stack.

• Analyze and break down technical requirements into manageable tasks.

• Plan and prioritize technical backlog in alignment with the company's goals.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to refine our development and deployment processes, leveraging GitOps, infrastructure-as-code, and CI/CD, promoting a DevOps culture company-wide.

• Mentor and support DevOps Engineers, fostering their growth and skill development.

What you’ll bring

Required Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in the tech industry.

• Demonstrated experience in analyzing technical requirements and decomposing projects into manageable tasks, ensuring alignment with team capabilities and project timelines.

• Expertise in Kubernetes administration.

• Understanding of networking, Docker, and Linux administration.

• Understanding of observability tools (Prometheus, ELK Stack, Grafana, DataDog, InfluxDB, or similar), with practical experience building queries and setting up alerts.

• Proficiency in one or more scripting languages (Bash, PowerShell, Python, Groovy, etc.)

• Proficiency in CI/CD platforms (ideally Jenkins)

• Experience with cloud platforms (preferably GCP or AWS).

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior leadership experience in any of the following roles would be a plus: Tech Lead, Team Lead, or Architect.

• Proficiency in one or more of the following technologies would be a plus: GitOps (Flux), Infrastructure-as-a-code (Terraform, Ansible), Service discovery (Consul), Load balancing (Kong, Nginx), Streaming/messaging (Kafka, RabbitMQ), and/or Secret management systems (HashiCorp Vault, Sealed Secrets, AWS/Google Secret Manager).

• Software development experience is a plus.
