We’re searching for a Site Reliability Engineering Team Leader with hands-on skills to join our growing SRE Infrastructure vertical. Our SRE teams build brilliant, far-reaching, and engaging production infrastructure environments for our millions of customers. In this role, you will guide your team to develop scalable, reliable, secure, maintainable, and high-performance infrastructure. You'll be working with a modern technology IaC and CCA stack. We believe in the Google mantra of SRE splitting their time between operations work and development work.

What you’ll do as a Site Reliability Engineering Team Lead:

• You will lead a production SRE team of 5 engineers who develop and maintain multiple global K8S clusters, On-premise and Cloud infrastructure, and services.

• Be passionate about learning and iterative improvement. Mentor and develop your team members through consistent career management conversations and regular feedback.

• Establish a safe environment with transparent and collaborative team culture.

• Maintain and develop the Infrastructure environment alongside your team members.

• Drive high production quality by advocating for the correct level of investment in systems.

• Properly document production issue resolution and identification through operational ticketing systems.

• Handle most problems, decisions, and escalations across the team and work to mitigate long-term risks.

• Work with IT leadership team and HR teams to develop and execute workforce plans that ensure IT has skilled resources to meet existing and future demands.

• Support a team on a shift rotation required in a 7 x 24 support operation as a point of escalation as needed.

What you’ll bring :

• Bachelor’s degree plus minimum 5 years of experience working with large-scale Linux-based deployments in a production environment inside a growth-oriented company.

• Experience in leading a technical team.

• Experience with Kubernetes, Nginx, Jenkins, HashiCorp stack, ELK, Terraform, Ansible, Git, and Cloud platforms.

• Experience with Google Cloud / AWS services and infrastructure.

• Ability to understand systems from all levels, from the "big picture" enterprise-level view to the low-level technical view.

• Advanced understanding and implementation of infrastructure as code deployment and automation methods.

• Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment.

• Strong communication (oral and written), customer service, organizational and multitasking skills.
