Team Overview

The rules shaping mobility and delivery are constantly evolving, and understanding them is essential to how DiDi grows. On Public Policy & Government Affairs, you’ll help DiDi navigate the political, regulatory, and public environment across Colombia, Peru, and Ecuador, connecting external developments with the needs of our business.

You’ll work closely with the Government Affairs team to monitor political and regulatory developments, research emerging issues, assess potential business impacts, and turn complex information into clear insights for business teams and external stakeholders. From tracking the news to supporting regulatory strategies and stakeholder engagement initiatives, you’ll gain firsthand exposure to how public policy shapes the products and services people use every day.

This is an opportunity to combine curiosity about the world around you with analytical thinking, communication, and initiative. Your work will help the team anticipate challenges, identify opportunities, and contribute to solutions that improve the way people move and access delivery services.

Role Responsibilities

  • Monitoring political, regulatory, and public developments across Colombia, Peru, and Ecuador, identifying emerging issues and trends that could affect DiDi’s Rides and Food businesses.

  • Researching public policy, regulatory frameworks, government initiatives, and relevant social and economic developments to help the team understand the broader context in which DiDi operates.

  • Analyzing potential regulatory and political risks related to business operations, product launches, new initiatives, and emerging contingencies, helping the team identify possible impacts and areas requiring attention.

  • Translating complex regulatory, political, and business information into clear, actionable insights, reports, briefs, presentations, and infographics for internal teams and external stakeholders.

  • Supporting the development and execution of government affairs, stakeholder engagement, and advocacy initiatives that help advance DiDi’s business priorities.

  • Collaborating with business, legal, communications, and other cross-functional teams to understand business needs and support the development of informed positions on relevant public policy issues.

  • Coordinating team activities, meetings, reports, and administrative processes, helping ensure information is organized, priorities are tracked, and the team can work effectively.

  • Exploring digital tools and AI-enabled solutions to improve research, information management, reporting, and the way the team communicates complex topics.

  • Taking ownership of assigned projects and contributing ideas, asking questions, and proactively flagging challenges or emerging issues that require the team’s attention.
