As DiDi's Budget & Strategy Analytics Manager, you will translate company-wide financial and operational data into actionable budget strategies that optimize resource allocation, empower business growth. You will be in the User Operation team, partnering with stakeholders ensure budgets reflect market dynamics, growth initiatives while enabling data-driven long-term planning.
In this role, you'll be...
- Lead the annual and rolling quarterly/monthly budgeting process for multiple teams(B-side, C-side), develop and maintain financial models and scenario analyses to evaluate strategic investments, pricing experiments.
- Partner with Product and Operations leaders to translate business KPIs (GMV, take rate, active users, ride frequency, driver supply metrics) into cost and revenue forecasts, driving actionable plans to improve unit economics.
- Drive cost optimization programs by identifying high-impact savings opportunities across marketing spend, driver incentives, and platform infrastructure, tracking realized savings and reporting to stakeholders.
- Build and own dashboards and automated reporting (Power BI/Tableau/Looker) that surface leading indicators and budget health, reducing manual reporting time.
- Advise on pricing, subsidy strategies, and promotional spending through causal analysis and A/B test result interpretation, quantifying impact on customer retention and LTV.
- Design and delivery of campaign measurement frameworks. Partner with Operations, Marketing, Product teams to translate analytical findings into optimized campaign tactics, and go-to-market strategies that drive measurable uplifts.

- A bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, Data Science, or a related quantitative field is preferred, with MBA or advanced degree considered an advantage for senior roles.
- Proven experience (5+ years) in corporate finance, business finance, or strategy analytics within high-growth technology or platform companies, with direct exposure to multi-regional operations and marketplace dynamics.
- Strong financial modeling and forecasting skills, including building driver-based models, scenario planning, and sensitivity analysis in Excel; experience with Python/R for analytics is highly valued.
- Proficiency in analytics and BI tools such as SQL, Power BI, Tableau, or Looker to automate reporting, create visualization, and derive actionable insights from large datasets.
- Demonstrated ability to partner cross-functionally with Product, Operations, and Regional leadership, translating technical analysis into clear business recommendations and influencing senior stakeholders.
- Results-oriented mindset with strong ownership, attention to detail, and the ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment typical of global mobility platforms.
- Excellent communication skills, including concise written budget narratives and persuasive presentations to senior leadership.
- Experience in marketplace unit economics, subsidy/pricing strategy, or cost optimization initiatives is required, with a track record of delivering measurable financial improvements.
