#LI-HybridAbout the team/role
As an Operation Analyst for Brazil Food at DiDi, you will drive operational excellence and marketplace growth for our food delivery business in Brazil by analyzing supply-demand dynamics, optimizing fulfillment efficiency, and informing regional strategy through data-driven insights; your work will directly impact order completion rates, delivery times, and unit economics across major Brazilian metros. You will join the Brazil Food Operations team whose mission is to scale safe, reliable, and cost-effective food delivery by improving driver-partner allocation, merchant performance, and customer experience through cross-functional execution.
Language of Chinese, English, Portuguese must be native.
In this role, you'll be...
- Analyze daily and weekly marketplace metrics (orders, active drivers, acceptance rates, ETA variance) to identify bottlenecks and propose corrective actions that improve on-time delivery rate by measurable percentage points.
- Design and maintain operational dashboards and automated reports for regional stakeholders to monitor KPIs (GMV, take-rate, delivery cost per order), reducing time-to-insight for operations leads by at least 30%.
- Optimize driver-partner supply allocation through forecasting and scenario modeling to lower idle time and reduce average delivery distance, aiming for specified improvements in fulfillment efficiency.
- Partner with regional operations, merchant success, and product teams to implement pilots (pricing, incentives, routing) and measure lift using A/B tests or quasi-experimental methods, reporting statistically significant impact on key metrics.
- Conduct root-cause analysis for incidents (surge events, service outages, safety or compliance issues) and coordinate corrective action plans that minimize recurrence and quantify impact on customer satisfaction.
- Support monthly and quarterly business reviews by compiling insights, creating concise decks, and recommending tactical and strategic actions to improve profitability and market share in Brazilian cities.
- Monitor competitive and local market trends in Brazil’s food delivery landscape to recommend adjustments to operational tactics that protect or grow DiDi’s customer base and merchant partnerships.
We're eager to be in touch because you have...
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Economics, Statistics, Engineering, or a related field is preferred but equivalent practical experience in operations analytics is acceptable.
- Proficiency in SQL and Excel for extracting and manipulating large datasets, with demonstrated ability to write complex queries and produce reliable datasets for analysis.
- Experience with BI tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or Looker to build operational dashboards and visualizations used by senior stakeholders.
- Solid analytical foundations in metrics design, experiment analysis, forecasting, and cohort analysis to generate actionable recommendations that move business KPIs.
- Familiarity with delivery logistics, marketplace dynamics, or on-demand platforms, ideally within food delivery or ride-hailing contexts, to quickly translate insights into operational adjustments.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to present quantitative findings clearly to cross-functional and regional teams and to drive follow-through on recommended actions.
- Data-driven mindset, problem-solving orientation, and bias for action with capacity to prioritize high-impact initiatives in a fast-paced, high-complexity environment such as Brazil’s multi-city operations.
- Language of Chinese, English, Portuguese must be native.
