Team Overview

As a Merchant Integration Analyst within Marketplace Operations, you are responsible for ensuring merchants are technically ready to operate successfully across LATAM. You lead the implementation, activation, and continuous improvement of merchant integrations, working closely with Product, Commercial, Operations, and external partners to deliver scalable technical solutions that enable reliable marketplace execution.

Beyond merchant activation, you oversee the technical lifecycle of integrated merchants by monitoring system health, resolving operational issues, coordinating technical support, and continuously improving integration processes and standards. Acting as the bridge between business and technology, you translate operational requirements into scalable integration solutions that reduce technical friction and improve merchant performance.



Owns the end-to-end technical lifecycle of merchants across Colombia and Costa Rica, including merchant activation, system integrations, post-go-live stability, technical support, and continuous process improvement. Partners closely with Product, Commercial, Merchant Performance, and external technology providers to ensure merchants operate reliably throughout their lifecycle.

Role Responsibilities

- Lead merchant technical onboarding, integration implementation, and go-live readiness across assigned markets.
- Partner with Commercial and Product teams to design and deliver scalable merchant integration solutions.
- Coordinate technical implementations involving APIs, POS systems, middleware, and other merchant connectivity solutions.
- Monitor post-launch merchant technical health and proactively resolve integration issues impacting marketplace performance.
- Act as the primary operational bridge between merchants, Product, Engineering, Commercial, and Merchant Operations.
- Standardize integration playbooks, documentation, SOPs, and best practices across markets.
- Identify opportunities to automate manual processes and improve merchant technical operations.
- Support new product launches and technical pilots by ensuring operational readiness and integration feasibility.
- Translate technical and operational insights into actionable recommendations that improve merchant experience and operational efficiency.
-Provide technical support during the onboarding process, including product demos and proof of concepts (POCs) for complex integrations.
-Train merchants and external technical partners on how to effectively operate and maintain their integrated solutions.
-Ensure that technical integrations meet established commercial agreements, SLAs, and merchant expectations.

Role Qualifications

The ideal candidate has 2–4 years of experience in integrations, operations, or technical support roles. He/she is comfortable working with structured data, merchant configurations, and cross-functional stakeholders in fast-moving environments.

Advanced Excel, SQL preferred. Deep understanding of REST APIs, JSON, OAuth2, and Webhooks, with the ability to adapt to diverse internal and external platforms.Process documentation and project management.

The right person demonstrates strong execution discipline, attention to detail, and a proactive mindset toward identifying and resolving technical risks. He/she is eager to scale impact through process improvement and automation. Fluency in Spanish and English is essential.

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Systems Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.
Excellent communication skills with the ability to translate complex technical jargon into clear business terms for non-technical stakeholders.
