We are looking for a highly motivated intern with a strong quantitative background — ideally studying Economics or a related field — who is genuinely excited about data, AI, and communications. This role offers a unique opportunity to help optimize the Measurement and Insights capability for External Affairs globally at one of the fastest-growing tech companies.
In this position, you will focus on leveraging data to support Communications, Government Affairs, and Internal Communications teams across DiDi’s global markets. You’ll be expected to go beyond running numbers — we’re looking for someone who can interpret data, surface key findings, and proactively identify opportunities to use AI and automation to make our work sharper and faster. In this role, you'll be...
Your key responsibilities include:

Support Communications, Government Affairs, and Internal Communications teams by running data queries and surfacing relevant insights to inform media narratives and stakeholder communications.
Generate data reports with clear interpretation and key findings.
Coordinate efforts to maintain our measurement systems optimized and up to date.
Develop measurement strategies for projects from the ground up and maintain up-to-date databases and trackers.
Generate materials to help teams better understand our metrics (infographics, presentations, glossaries, dashboards).
Proactively identify opportunities to implement AI tools and automation to enhance team efficiency and the quality of output.
Stay informed about new AI and social listening developments and bring concrete proposals to the team.
Keep tabs on the area’s deliverables, trackers, and prioritizations to ensure we are always working at our highest potential.
Provide basic training to team members on our measurement systems and tools.
Be a reliable, committed team member: own your work, meet deadlines, and follow through.

The successful candidate will have:

Studying a Bachelor’s Degree in Economics, Finance, or a related field with a strong quantitative component.
Strong Spanish and English communication skills (both written and verbal) — essential.
A genuine interest in AI and a track record of learning and implementing new tools independently.
Proactive, self-taught mindset.
Data-driven thinking with the ability to interpret results and translate them into clear, actionable insights.
Interest in measurement, social listening tools, communications, and technology.
Organized, results-oriented, and committed.
Empathic team player, eager to collaborate and willing to learn many new systems quickly.
Knowledge of Python and/or SQL (basic analysis, cleaning, automation)..
Schedule availability in the mornings, hybrid work model (1–2 days at the office).
