About the team/role

DiDi Rides Business Intelligence team is seeking an intern to support with data and analysis for the decision-making for the LATAM Rides business.

This position will work closely with Sr. Analysts to support business operations, delivering data and analysis for internal driver platform teams.

In this role, you'll be...

Querying and delivering data for analysis and decision making.
Understanding business situation and proposing data actionables.
Unveiling insights from data, and using them for recommendations and actions that will drive business success.
Work closely with BI senior analysts to support the data needs from the business.
Approximately 70% of your time will be dedicated to hands-on technical execution (such as writing queries, conducting in-depth analysis, and generating insights), while the other 30% will be focused on project management (including planning, stakeholder coordination, and ensuring timely delivery)

Coursing or having earned a degree in STEM (science, technology, engineering, and math) disciplines like engineering, economics, actuarial science, mathematics, computer science, etc.
Can communicate in Spanish and English at a professional level, with people of different areas of expertise.
Intermediate SQL and Python
Strong business acumen with the proven ability to translate commercial goals into actionable data strategies
Effective communication and stakeholder management
Analytical mindset: A natural curiosity of digging into data, finding patterns and solving local problems.
Have knowledge on tools like Excel/Sheets, PowerPoint/Slides and Word/Docs (not required but valuable).
Might have knowledge on advanced technical fields like machine learning, data science, and data engineering (not required but valued).
The ideal candidate is collaborative, proactive and passionate about data and analytics, and has or is studying a SME degree (science, mathematics, or engineering)
