About the team/role
The role will be responsible for providing legal support to the DiDi Shop and New Verticals teams in Mexico. This position aims to provide legal solutions on a variety of topics, with a special focus on contracts and general corporate matters. The position would be based in Mexico City and will report to the DiDi Legal Director for Mobility and Delivery (Mexico).
In this role, you'll be...
- Serving as a key legal focal point for DiDi Shop and New Verticals, working closely with local teams to support business objectives while mitigating legal risks.
- Collaborating with Operations, Product and other stakeholders to ensure that the launch of new products and features, comply with the applicable legal framework.
- Supporting the business in the negotiation, drafting, and approval of commercial agreements, as well as Terms & Conditions for promotions, campaigns, and rewards programs.
- Reviewing and advising on standard operating procedures and internal protocols, ensuring alignment with legal requirements and operational needs.
- Monitor and stay up to date on regulatory developments impacting the food delivery and e-commerce industries (including licensing, labor, consumer protection, and technology regulations), and provide actionable guidance to the business.

- 5+ years of legal experience, with a strong background on corporate matters;
- Law degree from a Mexican university;
- Legal knowledge on commercial transactions and ability to provide advice on different type of agreements;
- Strong communication skills;
- Fluency in English;
- Experience on Transportation and/or Tech industries is a plus.
