Team Overview

Our Design Hub is a high-impact creative team shaping how millions of users experience Food and Rides across 9 countries in Latin America. Operating at scale means balancing speed, craft, and strategic thinking — and that’s where this role comes in.


We’re looking for a Design Manager who can operate at both altitudes: defining strategy while staying close enough to the work to elevate creative quality. This is not a traffic-management role — it’s a creative leadership position.


You will lead a talented team of designers, strengthen design excellence, and help build a culture where ideas, storytelling, and execution coexist at the highest level. If you believe design is both a business driver and a cultural force, you’ll thrive here.

Role Responsibilities


  • Defining creative direction across Food & Rides for LATAM, ensuring high craft standards at scale.

  • Translating business goals into inspiring and effective design strategies.

  • Leading, mentoring, and developing designers across different seniority levels.

  • Raising the creative bar through clear, actionable feedback and strong design judgment.

  • Partnering with Marketing, Product, and cross-functional teams to influence decisions early.

  • Bringing clarity to ambiguous challenges and guiding teams through complexity.

  • Optimizing workflows and processes to enable speed without sacrificing quality.

  • Prioritizing effectively across multiple countries and initiatives.

  • Empowering teams to operate autonomously while staying aligned with broader goals.

Role Qualifications


  • +7 years of experience

  • Proven experience leading design teams in fast-paced, high-impact environments.

  • Strong creative craft — you know what great looks like and how to get there.

  • A strategic mindset with the ability to connect design decisions to business outcomes.

  • Experience managing complex scopes, ideally across multiple markets or regions.

  • Exceptional communication skills and confidence influencing senior stakeholders.

  • Professional fluency in English (written and spoken), with the ability to confidently present ideas, influence stakeholders, and operate in a regional environment.

  • A coaching mentality — you grow people, not just projects.

  • Strong sense of ownership, organization, and decision-making.

  • Comfort navigating ambiguity and turning it into clarity.

  • Bonus points if you bring:

  • Experience in app-based ecosystems, marketplaces, or tech-driven brands.

  • The ability to combine systems thinking with bold creative vision.

  • A strong understanding of UX/UI principles — not just at a tools level, but as a way of thinking about user behavior, journeys, and interaction patterns.

  • Experience collaborating closely with Product and UX teams to create seamless, intentional experiences.
