Company Overview
If you see technology as a way to smooth your path in life, our team does too: Your Path, Our Journey.
We believe in technology that connects talented people who embrace diversity to create and share paths we don't even know about (yet!). We work to generate value not only for our users but, above all, for the communities we serve and for society as a whole, making every day better for everyone with mobility and delivery services (99) or digital payments (99Pay).
To make life easier for millions of people every day, since 2018, we have been part of DiDi DiDi Global Inc., the world’s leading mobility technology platform. We are pioneers in creating innovative solutions that start in Brazil and scale up to make a positive impact in more than 12 countries where DiDi operates. This innovation encompasses sustainability, safety, artificial intelligence, financial markets, and much more.
Whether building projects from scratch or improving our solutions, we enjoy challenges that give us butterflies, which is why we work at a fast pace with respect, collaboration, and good humor. Along this journey, we also draw strength from diverse experiences and opinions to grow together, fail quickly, learn, and adjust the course to create solutions that deliver even better results.
#LI-HybridTeam Overview
Bridging the gap between backend infrastructure and front-line business needs, this role synthesizes technical requirements with merchant insights. Our goal is to transform complex platform architecture into intuitive tools that empower partners to scale.
Role Responsibilities
- Merchant Product Ownership & Lifecycle Management: Responsible for merchant-side product operations, driving the effective application and optimization of product capabilities related to store onboarding, menu management, order acceptance, payouts, and merchant quality governance. You will act as the owner of the Merchant App/Portal experience to ensure seamless daily operations for partners.
- Insight Generation & Commercial Planning: Proactively leverage data analysis, local market research, competitor benchmarking, and merchant feedback (NPS, ticket analysis) to deeply explore pain points and uncover potential business opportunities. This process will culminate in the production of high-quality Business Requirements Documents (BRD) to be further discussed with midplatform teams.
- Product Implementation & Go-to-Market: Evaluate product request priority and collaborate closely with the Product team to drive the formation of solutions. You will lead the launch strategy for new merchant features, ensuring internal teams (commercial, integration, etc) are trained and external partners adopt the new tools effectively.
- Cross-Functional Optimization: Coordinate effectively with key teams, including Commerical, Integration, Ops, Product, and R&D, to drive continuous iteration and optimization in merchant tools. Your goal is to empower business efficiency, reduce merchant churn, and foster sustainable growth for our partners.
Role Qualifications
- Education & Experience: Bachelor's degree or above, with 3+ years of experience in Merchant Operations, B2B Product Operations, or Supply-Side Strategy. Prior work experience in food/grocery delivery, e-commerce, or B2B SaaS is preferred.
- Analytical & Data Skills: Possess excellent logical and structured thinking abilities. Must be data-sensitive and have proven data analysis skills.
- Market Insight & Adaptability: Exhibit acute insight into market dynamics and customer needs, with the capability to quickly adapt to change.
- Communication & Efficiency: Demonstrate strong communication and coordination skills , and the ability to maintain work efficiency in a multi-tasking environment.
- Language Proficiency: Fluent in English, capable of using it as the working language. Mandarin is a plus.

Diversity & Inclusion
Diversity is not a future vision or a wish for something we want someday; it is a non-negotiable value of who we are today.
We embrace inclusion, plurality, and respect, and to achieve this, we rely on the governance of the Diversity Committee, which works alongside HR, our leadership, and identity groups—99Adapta, 99Afro, 99Colors, 99Womem, and 99Familys.
This is our ongoing journey, with much more still to come.
