Company Overview
If you see technology as a way to smooth your path in life, our team does too: Your Path, Our Journey.
We believe in technology that connects talented people who embrace diversity to create and share paths we don't even know about (yet!). We work to generate value not only for our users but, above all, for the communities we serve and for society as a whole, making every day better for everyone with mobility and delivery services (99) or digital payments (99Pay).
To make life easier for millions of people every day, since 2018, we have been part of DiDi DiDi Global Inc., the world’s leading mobility technology platform. We are pioneers in creating innovative solutions that start in Brazil and scale up to make a positive impact in more than 12 countries where DiDi operates. This innovation encompasses sustainability, safety, artificial intelligence, financial markets, and much more.
Whether building projects from scratch or improving our solutions, we enjoy challenges that give us butterflies, which is why we work at a fast pace with respect, collaboration, and good humor. Along this journey, we also draw strength from diverse experiences and opinions to grow together, fail quickly, learn, and adjust the course to create solutions that deliver even better results.
#LI-HybridTeam Overview
We are looking for talented professionals to join our Ops Analytics Manager (Campaigns and Comms) team at 99Food! This is an exciting opportunity for individuals who are highly analytical, data-driven, and eager to solve complex business challenges at the city level. If you have a start-up spirit and are always looking to create value, you would be a great fit for this team!
As part of Regional Operations, selected candidates will play a key role in driving city growth, improving marketplace performance, and shaping local strategies that connect users, restaurants, and couriers. This role requires a hands-on approach, strong problem-solving skills, and a proactive mindset to identify opportunities for growth, efficiency, and differentiation.
The ideal candidates will engage directly with restaurant partners, customers, and business development teams to understand the dynamics of each city. They will analyze local performance data, gather on-the-ground perspectives, and translate insights into actionable strategies that strengthen 99Food’s position in each market and ensure long-term sustainable growth.
Role Responsibilities
- This position will be the analytical backbone of 99Food’s promotional engine. You will lead the end-to-end measurement ecosystem — from data ingestion and modeling to experimentation design and causal inference — ensuring every campaign and marketplace initiative is grounded in rigorous, reliable insights.
- Your mission is to diagnose performance using marketplace signals such as elasticity, supply depth, pricing, distance, CTR/CR trends, user segmentation, and logistics constraints. You will transform these inputs into clear recommendations that optimize acquisition, activation, retention, and overall GMV efficiency.
- Working cross-functionally with Product, CRM, Marketing, BD, Finance, Ops, and Engineering, you will translate business questions into analytical hypotheses, prioritize experiments, and validate decisions with robust statistical evidence. You will also build scalable dashboards, monitoring systems, and alerting tools that increase visibility on incremental impact, campaign effectiveness, and marketplace health.
- This role requires strong technical depth, a hypothesis-driven mindset, and the ability to simplify complex data into strategic actions that accelerate 99Food’s performance across all cities.
- Lead the end-to-end measurement ecosystem for promotional campaigns and marketplace initiatives — covering data ingestion, modeling, experimentation design, causal inference, and actionable insight generation.
- Unlock growth across acquisition, activation, retention, and reactivation funnels through rigorous testing (A/B, geo-experiments, incrementality), predictive modeling, and performance deep dives.
- Diagnose and optimize campaign performance using marketplace signals (supply depth, pricing, distance, logistics, elasticity, CTR/CR patterns, user segmentation, merchant tiers), ensuring promotions drive sustainable GMV efficiency.
- Partner cross-functionally with Product, CRM, Marketing, BD, Finance, Ops, and Engineering to translate business questions into analytical hypotheses, prioritize experimentation roadmaps, and validate commercial decisions with robust data.
- Simplify complex insights into compelling narratives and communicate them to both technical and non-technical audiences, enabling strategic decision-making across the organization.
- Develop scalable dashboards, monitoring tools, and alerting systems that increase visibility on campaign effectiveness, incremental impact, supply conversion, and marketplace health (AOV, frequency, cancellations, constraints, elasticity).
- Serve as the analytical authority for promotions, advising on coupon strategy, thresholds, category days, brand days, and marketplace levers through data-driven frameworks.
- Champion measurement best practices and ensure high data quality across campaign pipelines, tracking systems, and experimentation infrastructure.
Role Qualifications
- 5+ years in Analytics, Data Science, Marketing Science, or Marketplace Performance roles at high-growth, data-driven companies (app/tech strongly preferred).
- Advanced SQL proficiency and hands-on experience with Python or R for statistical modeling, experimentation, and causal inference.
- Experience analyzing campaign and marketplace performance, including promo elasticity, efficiency, category dynamics, and user behavioral shifts.
- Familiarity with data visualization platforms (especially Sigma, but also Looker, Tableau, or equivalent).
- Strong dashboarding and data engineering literacy to work with marketing data architectures, tracking events, and integration pipelines.
- Highly analytical and hypothesis-driven, able to turn ambiguous business questions into structured analytical approaches.
- Experience with cohort analysis, funnel analytics, and retention forecasting.
- Exceptional storytelling and communication skills, capable of simplifying complex data into clear strategies and recommendations.
- Autonomous and proactive, with the ability to drive analysis from question to decision while engaging stakeholders when needed.
- Business-oriented mindset focused on impact, efficiency, and ROI, not just reporting or ad-hoc data pulls.
- Strategic thinker with a bias toward action, experimentation, continuous learning, and iteration.
- Familiarity with promotional architectures such as coupon frameworks, thresholds, category/brand day logic, and demand shaping strategies.
- Experience in marketplace optimization, including supply-demand balance, delivery logistics, pricing, and recommendation systems.
- Understanding of mobile performance marketing, CRM ecosystems, and growth loops.
