The Central External Affairs team works across DiDi’s international markets (outside China), supporting in-country External Affairs teams with data, arguments, narratives, measurement and strategy.
As Central Communications Senior Manager, you will craft and help tell DiDi’s story across our international markets, providing central support to in-country communications teams.
Working as part of the Central External Affairs team, you will support our regional Communications colleagues with expert communications counsel, leadership of multi-market and regional projects, crisis and issues management, and the development of core narratives and collateral.
You will report to the Head of Central External Affairs.
Role Responsibilities
- Building and maintaining a library of narratives and core collateral, including factsheets, boilerplates, and corporate narratives.
- Leading multi-market projects and campaigns, including multi-market story pitches, international visits and delegations, and corporate communications.
- Serving as the liaison between in-country international communications colleagues and China-based PR teams, including managing reviews and approvals for content.
- Supporting in-country teams on crisis management and processes, and on major national campaigns.
Role Qualifications
- Based in, or willing to relocate to, Mexico City
- 10+ years of experience working in communications, including for a multinational company. Tech sector experience preferred
- Experience working on regional/global campaigns, or in a central communications function preferred
- Strong written and verbal communications skills, including fluency in English (Spanish and/or Portuguese language skills a plus)
