Mission of the Role:
The mission of the Site Experience & Merchandising Lead is to ensure Curology’s websites operate effectively day to day and continue to evolve into cohesive, high-performing, and on-brand digital experiences.
Reporting to the VP of Growth & Customer Experience, this role is a highly hands-on operator responsible for executing, maintaining, and improving the onsite journey across key customer touchpoints. During a critical period of change, this role will support a major Shopify migration and the Agency relaunch and rebrand. Longer term, the role will be responsible for the ongoing execution and optimization of the full site experience for one of Curology’s brands.
This role operates within the site experience and growth strategy set by the VP, Growth & Customer Experience, translating direction into high-quality, reliable execution.
This is not a strategy-only role. You will work directly in the CMS building pages, QA’ing experiences, fixing issues, and refining live content to ensure everything that ships is intentional, accurate, and performant.
Essential Functions and Impact Areas:
Site Execution & Operations
- Build, update, and QA pages across homepage, landing pages, PDPs, category pages, promotions, cart, patient dashboard, and navigation.
- Lead page and content rebuilds during Shopify migration, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and zero broken experiences.
- Own CMS execution across Contentful and Shopify, including setup, publishing, QA, and ongoing maintenance.
- Be accountable for site hygiene: no broken links, outdated content, misaligned messaging, or UX regressions.
End-to-End Site Experience
- Be responsible for the full onsite visitor journey post–ad or email click, from homepage or landing page through sign-up flow or PDP and checkout.
- Ensure every touchpoint reflects brand values, marketing priorities, and customer intent.
- Balance education, discovery, and commerce based on funnel stage and user mindset.
Marketing Calendar + Site Calendar
- Execute against the site calendar in partnership with Growth & Lifecycle
- Support site-wide promotions and brand moments in close partnership with Lifecycle, Performance Marketing, Product, and Creative.
- Ensure timing, messaging, and UX are consistent and cohesive across all onsite surfaces.
Agency Rebrand & Relaunch Support
- Partner with the other Site Experience & Merchandising Lead to execute the Agency rebrand.
- Build and launch new pages, content, and journeys aligned to the new brand direction.
- Ensure Agency experiences feel intentional, differentiated, and high-quality from day one.
Performance, Data & Optimization
- Monitor ContentSquare, GA4, and Amplitude daily to understand user behavior and friction.
- Run content audits, usability reviews, and competitive analysis.
- Partner with Product Experience on experimentation and optimization initiatives.
- Use data to prioritize fixes, improvements, and redesigns.
Cross-Functional Partnership
- Work closely with Lifecycle and Paid Media to ensure strong, aligned post-click experiences.
- Partner with Creative to deliver mobile-first, high-engagement visual experiences.
- Coordinate with SEO and AIO/GEO partners on shared ownership of search-impacting pages.
- Collaborate with Product, Engineering, Legal, Medical, and Analytics to execute safely and efficiently.
Required Qualifications:
- 8+ years of experience in site experience, eCommerce, or digital merchandising roles.
- Extremely strong operator, comfortable working hands-on in CMS tools and managing complex site builds.
- High attention to detail; QA, accuracy, and polish are non-negotiable.
- Strong understanding of customer journeys, funnel intent, and conversion dynamics.
- Data-driven and curious, with regular use of analytics to guide decisions.
- Ability to move quickly without breaking things.
- Comfort with ambiguity and evolving ownership models.
Nice-to-Haves:
- Experience supporting Shopify migrations or replatforming efforts.
- Experience executing brand relaunches or rebrands.
- Background in subscription, beauty, or health-tech businesses.
- Familiarity with personalization and experimentation tools.
- Strong mobile UX instincts.
- Familiarity with SEO and AIO/GEO best practices.
- Strong creative instincts with the ability to balance storytelling and conversion.

Compensation:
The estimated base salary range for this role is $140,000 – $160,000 per year, plus a competitive equity package and benefits. Actual compensation will be determined based on several factors, including location, skills, experience, and job-related expertise.
