The Influencer Marketing Manager is in charge of managing their personal relationships with external content creators to support the company’s growth and brand initiatives while also managing minor areas of the team’s process and supporting the execution of team-wide campaigns. In this role, they must work directly with interns (when needed), external team members (when needed), influencers, content creators and agents on the creation of content for the company’s select brand and growth marketing functions (i.e. Social Media, PR, and User Acquisition), brand awareness, and direct conversions from the content creator’s channel(s).

What you'll do:

  • Cultivate and maintain authentic relationships with influencers and managers to continue evolving the best-in-class Influencer program
  • Prospect for new influencer platforms, channel strategies and capabilities tracking in-line with overall Influencer and marketing budgets
  • Author strategic, detailed briefs, concept campaigns, and identify potential integrated marketing opportunities to inspire creative ideas that leverage the full-scope of influencer marketing
  • Evolve cross-functional collaborative processes to scale efficient and effective execution of initiatives and processes in order to leverage content in a paid and organic capacity
  • Develop and own measurement and reporting structure to evaluate and demonstrate the impact of the Influencer program and advise on future optimizations to meet business goals
  • Drive legal, financial, and administrative needs associated with Influencer program including contracts, new vendor onboarding and invoicing
  • Continually audit existing Influencer program and update to bring it in line with future-state goals
  • Oversees, forecasts, and manages the spend across the whole influencer program. Takes the lead on and manages the budget for all influencer partnerships, campaigns, and projects
  • Support operational planning for gifting, events, and other team-wide initiatives to foster brand love from Curology’s influencer community

What you'll need:

  • 4-6 years of relevant work experience within influencer marketing for either a brand or agency
  • Exceptional negotiation skills to structure high value partnerships
  • Organizational skills, attention to detail and ability to produce accurate and quality work in a fast-paced environment
  • Able to interpret data to drive outcomes and make calculated bets. Can use data to budget effectively on partnership campaigns that will benefit the business
  • Self-motivated, adaptable, able to work autonomously and as part of a team
  • Understands the influencer team’s whole process from initial outreach to the partnership’s end as well as how the influencer team’s function fits into the company’s overall strategy
  • High EQ. Can exhibit patience and general understanding for teammates and other teams within the company
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with team members, direct reports, cross functional teams, and external partners
  • Creativity and out of the box thinking to innovate on current team campaigns and influencer partnerships as well as to suggest new formats outside of evergreen partnerships
  • Exhibits a “get-stuff-done” attitude and is willing to stretch outside their role to help the broader team
