We are looking for an experienced Product Manager to lead our Network Optimization team, reporting to the Director of Product Management. In this role, you will own the underlying tools and capabilities of provider matching, scheduling, and network supply/demand forecasting. You will partner closely with Brightside’s data science, engineering, and operations teams, and play a critical part in ensuring our provider network is available to meet our current and future demands for all care programs, in all states, and all insurance payers at scale.

What you’ll be doing as a Product Manager on the Network Optimization team:

  • Become the expert on our scheduling, availability, and provider matching tools, focused on backend APIs/algorithms.

  • Understand Brightside’s supply & demand models and ensure we are prioritizing the right features and areas of investment from a product perspective to drive business success.

  • Optimize demand for patient appointments with availability of providers at any given time of the day in multiple markets and segments.

  • Own key metrics such as booking rates and % of provider slots utilized.

  • Work cross-functionally with a large number of internal stakeholders/teams, from data science, product analytics, engineering, operations, growth, and clinical.

Requirements:

  • Background or degree in computer science / engineering / business / data & statistics

  • 3-5 years of experience working as a product manager at a marketplace company, with exposure to building features with supply & demand dynamics

  • The ability to communicate to many different types of stakeholders

  • Experience contributing to engineering and data science discussions around technology decisions and strategy related to a product

  • Experience relying on analytics and data to shape product decisions and track effectiveness of changes
