We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Manager of Member Flow to lead the development and oversight of referral processes into Brightside, ensuring seamless integration of referred members into Brightside's care network. This role will play a crucial part in ensuring strong activation and conversion rates of prospective members, optimizing the customer experience, and maintaining strong partnerships with external healthcare partners. This role will report directly to the Senior Manager, Care Operations. It is a remote role with limited travel.

What you’ll do as Manager of Member Flow:

  • Manage and track prospective members referred to Brightside to maximize conversion and activation

  • Support efficient intake processes and successful onboarding of new members

  • Help facilitate outreach and onboarding of referred Brightside members; including addressing barriers to care, providing service-related education and discussing coverage options.

  • Lead team in developing and implementing effective member engagement strategies to enhance member experience at entry and positively impact activation and conversion.

  • Develop and manage operational workflows to support the expansion of Brightside's intake and referral team.

  • Manage administrative responsibilities related to referral activities, in coordination with internal and external stakeholders.

  • Develop and maintain strong communication pathways between the Brightside referral team and external healthcare partners.

  • Collaborate with Brightside’s Commercial team in developing and distributing reports and metrics related to referral activity.

  • Build interdepartmental relationships to promote collaboration and develop efficient and streamlined referral streams into Brightside Health.

  • Manage Member Flow specialists to support administrative functions associated with transitions of care and member engagement across the care journey.

  • Perform additional duties as required, including but not limited to reporting, administration, and documentation.


  • Have a Bachelor's degree in a related field from an accredited university

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience, preferably in healthcare, customer patient-facing roles such as referral relations or admissions

  • Strong interpersonal, relationship-building and listening skills
