We’re looking for a motivated Director of Business Development, Health Systems to expand Brightside’s health system and medical group relationships, with a focus on driving patient referral volume to Brightside. The right individual will have market-leading experience in health systems, medical groups and risk-bearing provider groups including broad and deep relationships; substantial solution selling acumen including prospecting, consultative selling, closing, and client success; and experience and expertise in mental health and the impact it has on total cost of care, quality and value drivers for ecosystem partners.
What you’ll be doing as Director of Business Development, Health Systems:
Identify, establish, deepen, and maintain market-appropriate health system and medical group relationships, uncovering stakeholder pain points and opportunities for Brightside to establish formal referral partnerships and add additional value, within your territory
Develop and maintain a presence in the health system market through industry groups, events and networking channels (e.g., LinkedIn)
Assist in the development of sales and marketing materials for providers
Assist in the development of targeting, prospecting and sales motion tools and execution, including maintaining updated SalesForce records and pipeline reporting
Work cross-functionally within Brightside to ensure proper transitions and support throughout the sales, onboarding, and client management process
Develop and oversee reporting and relationship management with Brightside clients with a view towards scalability through an expanded team
Develop and nurture a key opinion leader/physician network
As we expand, this role will recruit, retain and develop a team
You:
Have 5+ years experience selling to, and/or supporting health systems and medical groups (e.g. SaaS, population health) with experience in mental health
Understand the broad care delivery landscape including a deep understanding of the quadruple aim and value based care
Bring deep, meaningful relationships within the care delivery industry - the ideal individual will bring relationships with multiple C-suite leaders from day one, including CEOs, COOs, Chief Medical Officers, Medical Director, Directors of Behavioral Health and Chief Nursing Officers
Understand the events/conferences/industry groups to sponsor and attend
Are passionate about building an innovative new approach to help more people with depression and anxiety
Are a high-achieving executive with an ability to work complex deals successfully
Succeed in a metric-driven environment with prior success in quota-carrying roles
Are a structured thinker and great problem solver, with detail oriented and meticulous execution
Are a clear communicator, and thoughtful and empathetic collaborator
Are able to thrive in a flexible startup environment with significant autonomy and the desire, expertise and experience to take an organization into the next stage of growth
