Mission: Essence of the Job
We’re looking for a Growth Product Manager to own and accelerate user and revenue growth across the customer journey, including acquisition, activation, retention, and monetization. You’ll own and oversee the strategy and execution of growth product initiatives.
You’ll report directly to the VP of Growth and be a key player in building our growth engine from the ground up.
You’ll need to be able to think creatively and strategically about product strategy and be able to work collaboratively with sales, marketing, engineering, design, operations, and event planning teams. You’ll play a critical role in transforming product usage into revenue, owning parts of the journey from first touch to expansion—using data, design, and iteration to unlock PLG at scale.
Top 3 Priorities
- Drive measurable Product-Led Growth across the entire funnel. Own and optimize key stages of the user journey through product-driven initiatives.
- Build and launch a scalable product experimentation machine. Establish a repeatable, fast-moving process for running growth experiments that generate learning and drive outcomes.
- Use user insight to inform growth strategy by continuously uncovering user needs, behaviors, and friction points to guide impactful product decisions and fuel sustainable growth.
Within 30 days:
- Own the growth roadmap for key funnel stages, such as self-serve activation.
- Launch your first tests or iterative product improvement targeting measurable growth levers.
- Set up dashboards or reporting to track and monitor success.
- Partner with Marketing and Sales to improve conversion rates across landing pages, signup flows, and in-product messaging.
- Map key growth loops and success metrics for your area (e.g., time-to-value, activation rate).
Within 60 days:
- Ship multiple iterations to improve self-serve activation or expansion.
- Begin seeding and scaling at least one new growth loop
- Lead at least 3 experiments or initiatives aimed at improving a core business metric.
- Begin documenting and refining the experimentation process to increase team velocity. Establish a scalable process for ideating, prioritizing, and shipping growth experiments.
- Demonstrate measurable improvement in one or more funnel metrics (e.g., onboarding completion, expansion rate).
Within 90 days:
- Fully launch a scalable product experimentation machine.
- Evangelize growth learnings across the entire BoomPop organization.
- Have a steady cadence of experiments running and learning cycles established.
- Be contributing measurable impact to user growth and product monetization.

What you'll do
- Own the product roadmap for the growth funnel, such as onboarding, activation, retention, and engagement.
- Lead BoomPop’s PLG build out and experimentation - identify bottlenecks in the user journey, design and ship high-impact experiments, and build scalable growth loops.
- Drive user growth, activation and revenue expansion through product-led and sales-assisted strategies and experiments.
- Build and lead a cross-functional pod to identify, prioritize, and execute growth experiments.
- Define success metrics for growth, develop hypotheses, run tests to improve key KPIs.
- Partner with Marketing to optimize landing pages, user onboarding, and campaign experiences.
- Partner with Sales to build out and optimize sales-assisted product growth strategies.
- Help build a culture of rapid experimentation, continuous learning, and iterative improvement.
- Collaborate with product leadership to ensure growth aligns with company and product strategy.
Qualifications
- 3–6 years of product management experience, with 2+ years in a growth or PLG-focused B2B SaaS role.
- Proven track record of moving key product metrics via experimentation and iteration.
- Deep understanding of the SaaS user journey, including activation, self-serve onboarding, and in-product monetization.
- Comfortable working with A/B testing platforms, marketing tech stacks, CRMs, product analytics tools and writing or interpreting SQL.
- Bonus: Experience in a hybrid PLG + sales-assisted environment

Occasional Travel: Connecting is in our DNA, please note that we anticipate roughly 3-4 nights of travel per quarter for this role.
Total Compensation Package; Including Benefits and Stock:
- Base: $135k - $165k a year; Depending on Experience and Qualifications
- Medical, vision, dental, life: $10,000 - $16,000 a year; Depending on Individual or Family Plan
- Equity: Our vision is to take BoomPop to the moon; Total Estimated Value for this Role is $50,000+
